On some of the coldest days of the year (or of any year!) Steve and Bobbie's house was warm, cozy and the perfect place to recovery from some extremely extreme days skiing at Sugarbush.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything we forgot (olive oil, maple syrup, orange juice) and the flow from the kitchen to the dining room made preparing and eating meals a great social time.
The kids loved hanging out in the upstairs TV area and enjoyed the very modern set up (BluRay, Netflix, Dish, etc).
The beds were almost too comfy - as we all wanted to get up early to hit the slopes.
I only had the chance to meet Steve but was impressed by his attention to detail and his obvious love of Vermont.
All in all, a vacation filled with great memories! Thanks for sharing your home with my family, and our friends.
Steve was a fantastic host, and his home is an amazing place. He met and welcomed us as we arrived, made sure we were set for the week, and was available via AirBnB messaging when we had a few questions.
Nestled in the Green Mountains, this post-and-beam home is a masterpiece and is exactly as described. We were less than 30 minutes from both Mad River Glen and Sugarbush, and enjoyed a week filled with skiing followed by relaxing in front of the very warm fireplace.
The kitchen is modern and completely stocked, the bedrooms are clean and comfortable, and there are plenty of places to read, relax, and recharge. While we didn't use it much, there's also a high-definition television and cable upstairs, as well as a fast internet connection.
I'd warmly recommend Steve and his property to anyone, and look forward to coming back again!
This is a really nice house in a really nice place. All we needed for a great winter holiday with all the family. Rooms are big, beds very comfortable and the two living rooms are perfect. The fireplace is fantàstic, never seen something like that. I have not a single complain. I am not going to extent. Just want to let know everyone that is looking for a place in Vermont that this is the real best place. You will thank me for this advice.
Gorgeous home in VT, we had an amazing time. Steve and Bobbie were great hosts - they left us with thorough written instructions on everything in the home. Kitchen was beautiful and well-stocked, bathrooms were clean, the whole place was lovely. Great layout. Even had toddler toys and books for my baby girl! Prettier than the pictures. Highly recommended, we would stay there again!
This was our first time using Airbnb and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. Steve and Bobbie are absolutely wonderful: responsive, friendly, gracious and trustworthy. From the moment we arrived they made us feel like welcomed guests. Their home was exceptionally clean and just as pictured in the photos. We spent the weekend cooking yummy meals in their gourmet kitchen, playing games by the cozy (and very unique) Russian stove/fireplace and tackling almost every outdoor activity we could think of (including snow-showing on marked trails right out the front door!). Sugarbush is just a short drive away (10 minutes) making their home the perfect ski getaway. We'd loved it so much we hope to come back next year!
