Noe Valley has been voted best neighborhood by a local magazine. Dining options abound, with some of the best ethnic restaurants in the city in walking distance. Coffee is one door down, amazing Chinese food is a block away in each direction, and the delivery options are seemingly endless. Noe Valley’s 24th Street is a short walk away with its retail offerings, and charming farmers market. Ethnic Mission Street is a few blocks away, as is dining and retail hot spot Valencia Street in SF’s popular Mission District. Both Whole Foods and Safeway grocery stores are just ten minutes walk away.
The location can’t be beat, with charming streetcars on the J Church line leading to downtown. Shuttles for, (website hidden) Apple, Genentech, EA as well as many other tech companies. 24th Street Bart Station is about a 20 minute walk away, however the J connects with Bart if your not up for the hikes. The neighborhood is relatively flat, so its perfect for walking an strolling.
Other Things to Note
The unit is in a duplex, in a bustling urban environment. The construction is from the early 20th century, and with that comes a bit more street and noise from the neighbors, as well as all sorts of eccentric charm. We ask that noise be kept to a moderat level, out of respect for the neighbors below. As with most of San Francisco, there’s no air conditioning, nor any need for it.
There are two units in this building and one off street parking space. IF YOU REQUIRE PARKING, PLEASE LET ME KNOW UPON BOOKING. IT CAN NOT ALWAYS BE GUARANTEED. FOR THIS UNIT, THERE'S A $10 PER NIGHT PARKING CHARGE.
If parking isn't available, there is easy street parking right out front with no limitations over time, or permits needed. Its really nothing to be afraid of and I can provide you with maps to where you can park without a problem.
Parties are not permitted.
Back deck can be used but if after sunset, please keep voices down to respect neighbors.
Please no smoking inside. If you smoke outside, please dispose of cigarette waste properly.
Pets are negotiable- let's discuss before you arrive.
Chad was very helpful and prompt to answer all my questions. I booked his apartment for a business trip and was very happy of the location. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need.

The best thing about Chad's place, is it's location. The location can't be better! Also, Chad is a very considerate host. From Kleenex to paper towels for the kitchen to shampoo & conditioner to soap, Chad thought of every thing. There was wine for his guest (sorry Chad, we do not drink!), expresso machine plus coffee pods, even a water filter jug filled with water sitting in the refrigerator.
Initial directions and ease of getting to the unit were great. And the place was spotless!
There are only a couple of things that would make the stay more pleasurable. The bed linens needs replacement. The sheets actually had holes, maybe an oversight?!
Loved the thick, thirsty towels in the bathroom. But the water temperature fluctuated dangerously if two people used water simultaneously.
Lastly, all the windows do not open. You needed to keep them open with books. That can be problem on warm days, like our first day!
The apartment was great! Extremely sunny and in a great neighborhood! Chad was very responsive throughout the whole process. Would love to stay here again!
Chad's apartment was exactly as described and shown - a gorgeous little gem located in the lovely neighbourhood of Noe Valley (walking distance to the Mission). A sunny, clean and well designed space, the apartment is perfect for a couple who are looking to explore the city and need a lovely pad to come home to. There is a coffee shop just downstairs as well as a few quiet restaurants, and one of the main bus routes is located on the same street - which was extremely helpful for us.
Chad was extremely quick on all communication and very helpful - and was extremely kind as to leave us a bottle of wine and some English tea for our arrival! Much appreciated.
My husband and I would definitely stay there again, without a doubt.
The apartment was lovely - great light, great furniture and the bed was really comfortable.
It's in a lovely neighbourhood with good transport connections as well.
Easy check in and check out process and Chad even left us a nice bottle of California red which we enjoyed with our friends that evening in the cozy living room.
Thanks for a great stay!
