The crisp white walls and bright fuscia staircase is your first hint that this upstairs one bedroom flat in sunny Noe Valley is not your typical rental.

The Space

With rustic whitewashed plank wood floors, and period Victorian proportions contain an eclectic mix of vintage modern furnishings and original contemporary photography.

Guest Access

The upstairs full floor flat features a bright galley style kitchen, with its own private outdoor deck, perfect for taking in the morning sun over a cup of coffee from the Nespresso Coffee maker in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked, with a gas range, microwave, plenty of pots, cooking tools as well as breakfast ready and waiting for you in case of a late arrival.
The Bathroom, with its bright blue paneling, features a shower, bathtub and your own pedestal sink. The Bedroom, which is open to the rest of the flat in a loft like fashion, has a queen size bed, lots of closet space, a chest of drawers waiting to be filled by you, and your own personal plush stuffed animal, just in case you need a snuggle while away from home.
Living Room features bright, afternoon light, 40 inch flat screen television, design and art books, sofa, a really comfortable armchair, and the perfect coffee table for you to kick your feet up on, while working on your laptop. High speed cable internet designed for movie watching and working remotely and when not working, there is 190 TV channels to keep you entertained.

Interaction with Guests

I own the house and am always nearby if something were to go wrong, or you need a suggestion or help with anything.

The Neighborhood

Noe Valley has been voted best neighborhood by a local magazine. Dining options abound, with some of the best ethnic restaurants in the city in walking distance. Coffee is one door down, amazing Chinese food is a block away in each direction, and the delivery options are seemingly endless. Noe Valley’s 24th Street is a short walk away with its retail offerings, and charming farmers market. Ethnic Mission Street is a few blocks away, as is dining and retail hot spot Valencia Street in SF’s popular Mission District. Both Whole Foods and Safeway grocery stores are just ten minutes walk away.

Getting around

The location can’t be beat, with charming streetcars on the J Church line leading to downtown. Shuttles for, (website hidden) Apple, Genentech, EA as well as many other tech companies. 24th Street Bart Station is about a 20 minute walk away, however the J connects with Bart if your not up for the hikes. The neighborhood is relatively flat, so its perfect for walking an strolling.

Other Things to Note

The unit is in a duplex, in a bustling urban environment. The construction is from the early 20th century, and with that comes a bit more street and noise from the neighbors, as well as all sorts of eccentric charm. We ask that noise be kept to a moderat level, out of respect for the neighbors below. As with most of San Francisco, there’s no air conditioning, nor any need for it.

Parking is sometimes available for an extra fee, so please inquire. If parking isn't available, there is easy street parking right out front with no limitations over time, or permits needed. Its really nothing to be afraid of and I can provide you with maps to where you can park without a problem.

  • Loved our short family stay at Chad's apartment and only wish it lasted longer! The place is stylish, very comfortable (esp. the bed) and clean. Plus it's wonderfully located- we spent most of our time in the neighbourhood and had the best first experience of San Francisco! We didn't meet Chad in person but the communication was flawless and we happily recommend him as a host!

  • Rented this place for my father-in-law since it was near to our home. Great location and surprisingly, quiet and rumble-free even though the Muni train runs right outside. Place itself is just fine, no complaints at all.

  • Chad's place is fantastic, I really loved the modern accents. Great location and where I felt safe and neighbors were friendly. I didn't want to leave :)

  • Chad's apartment was exactly as per the photos, light and airy with fantastic furniture throughout. The terrace at the back was perfect for a morning coffee in the sun! The apartment is in a nice quiet neighbourhood with some great places to eat nearby ('Toast, on 24th street is great for breakfast). You can catch the J line Metro to the city centre from the next block which proved extremely useful (although they weren't very frequent when we travelled). Chad was a great host communicating well throughout the booking. Highly recommended!

  • This beautiful place is well equipped, comfortable and convenient. It’s located just beyond the fantastic Mission District and directly on a MUNI line for any further flung adventures. Chad is very accommodating and his check-in process is extremely efficient. This may be the best experience I have had via Airbnb.

  • Could not recommend this apartment more. Fantastic location - it is very quick on the J line right into town, and a great area generally. The apartment itself is fantastic, exactly as it appears on the photos, with all you need for your stay in SF.

  • Chad was super responsive and helpful in reserving this apartment for my family when they visited recently. The space was perfect for them and just around the corner from our apartment. He even came to the rescue when my brother locked himself out (thanks again) and was really nice about it. We would definitely have family stay here again when they're in town next.
