Stay in a quiet, bright private room in a spacious house centrally located next to Menlo Park/ Redwood City/ Woodside - just 10 min to Atherton Caltrain station (bicycle).
Enjoy privacy and living like at home, plus meeting new friends
This private room for 2 people on the 2nd floor offers carpet floors, 1 comfortable, wooden queen-size bed, a walk-in closet, and a separate bathroom with bathtub. (Room can host 2 people - please see the rate for the 2nd person!)
The 2nd floor has only one other room which I'm using, so privacy is given. The house has another shared room on the 1st floor, with a max. of 4 people, so the house never gets crowded.
The 1st floor offers multiple couches, a large dining table and an open, full-equipped kitchen. The family room (email hidden) plus Apple TV, the living room an open fireplace to relax, and an equipped office space with a separate desk, WiFi printer/ scanner, and a whiteboard.
The kitchen is equipped with salt, Pepper, various spices, olive oil, vinegar, flour, sugar, and other cooking essentials. The fridge is usually filled with Coke, Beer, Eggs, and other groceries - feel free to grab some stuff, but make sure it's not empty before you're leaving.
The house is maintained by myself, but I have a cleaning service, a gardener, and you can use Instacart to get your groceries delivered.
I'm going to sublet my house as I'm staying there on my own but I have 2 rooms left. I'm at work most of the day and often on business trips for some days.
Guests have access to all amenities like a complete kitchen, yard, WiFi, washer and dryer, a barbecue place, dining table, various couches, the office space, and of course, the basket ball.
I'm a very social guy, please look up my profiles. I'm dealing with entrepreneurs, interns at established technology companies, and startups every day. I'm open to give advice on your business and support you in networking, but also just chat with a cool beer in the evening or going for a drink to a bar in the neighborhood.
You're staying in Atherton, surrounded by Oracle's active president and (website hidden)s current CEO. It's a quiet and safe neighborhood, but also close to all kind of stores like Saveway, CVS, Radioshack, Starbucks, and the Atherton Caltrain station. The house is located next to Menlo Park, Redwood City, and Woodside (all between 5-10 minutes away by car), the Highway 280 (30 minutes to San Francisco, 20 minutes to San Jose, all by car), and Half-Moon Bay (30 minutes by car).
Atherton Caltrain Station is about 10 minutes away (bicycle).
I have 2 bicycles that I share (ask before booking), but can show you some places to by cheap ones too.
I also have a car, so I can give you a ride some times too.

Let me start by saying that this is was my second stay at Christoph's clean and spacious residence. The first two were so satisfying that I booked a third stay. He was even kind enough to supply us with some basic groceries for our stay to share with the other guests.
The neighborhood is quite safe and makes for a great place to go for a run or walk iduring your stay.
In addition, Christoph continues to make himself available to his guests either through direct SMS/text message or through AirBnB's messaging service. He is usually able to respond to questions/inquiries within a few hours and is willing to address all issues big or small.
If you are looking for a great place to stay with potential for a variety of guests from all over the world at different professional levels, this is a great place to start.
This was my first time using airbnb and I could not have been happier with our host, Christophe, and the place itself. Christophe was a great host--he left food and drinks in the fridge for us weary and hungry travelers, the house was very clean, and he made sure to leave behind the amenities we would need to enjoy our stay. Christophe was also very accommodating with our special requests. I would not hesitate to recommend Christophe or this property to anyone. As a matter of fact, I would do it enthusiastically! Great experience!
