An airy duplex with high ceilings and lots of windows onto the Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge. See the native waterfowl, or the hundreds of migrating birds of the Eastern Flyway. Ten minutes from I-95, Exit 67. Only yards to the public saltwater ramp, with access to the Intracoastal Waterway and the islands . Private bedroom, Queen size bed, big common room with fold out sofa, kitchenette. Screened in back porch. The Georgia coast is one of the most pristine natural areas on earth.

The space
Tours of the saltwater marshes or beaches available with "Laid Back Charters," Guide and Captain Sonny Bargeron ... Ramp is one minute away. Or: Sapelo Island Ferry. They have a website, but this site will not allow the listing. Please note pets are welcome, but NOT ON OUR BEDS, BEDDING OR FURNITURE, and with a $15 pet fee left as a tip for our cleaner!!

This is a completely private side of a duplex building, sharing only the rear porch with the other unit. Please note: while a convection oven and microwave are included, there is no full size oven or stovetop. Please note pets are welcome, but NOT ON OUR BEDS, BEDDING OR FURNITURE, and with a $15. pet fee left as a tip for our cleaner!!

Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: This is one suite of a two-suite duplex. It is completely separate from the other suite, except for a shared rear screened in porch. And this property is in no way affiliated with the Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge. We are their neighbor, and love the place. We expect all our guests to BE a good neighbor to the Refuge. Thank you.

Directly adjoining the property to the rear, and across the road in front, is the Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge. This is one of the last great wild places on earth, and the Georgia marshes, tidal rivers, barrier islands and Atlantic Ocean beyond are spectacular examples of some of the greatest beauty on the planet. You can see wildlife that is unmatched anywhere, from Endangered Species Wood Storks, to alligators large and small, to dolphins, to thousands of migratory birds, to deer....and so on and so on !!
