  • Our party of five was comfortably housed here for a busy couple of days in West Vancouver. We had everything we needed and made good use of the fully equipped kitchen. We would gladly return again as there is so much to explore in the region.

  • 9/26/13-9/30/13 Maureen is such a wonderful host and her home is absolutely amazing!
Thank you so much for opening up your home to me, my fiancé & family. Your accommodations was beyond our expectations. You made us feel right at home and offered us a long list of activities and restaurants throughout the city. It was raining and cold throughout our stay but you made sure that we were warm throughout the day/night, covered on our adventures-with umbrellas and updates on the weather for our safety. All were greatly appreciated!
We will definitely come back to the beautiful city of Vancouver and would love to stay at Chez Momo again!

  • This is an exceptional apartment, with stunning views of downtown. very comfortable, and spacious. Momo is really friendly, and we had absolutely everything we needed. i have already recommended it to friends.

  • Chez Momo was peaceful and gorgeous—I wish we could have stayed longer! There was plenty of room for our group of 5 to spread out, and we enjoyed having the full kitchen to make breakfast (not to mention eating breakfast on the lovely outdoor patio). It's a bit removed from the action, which may be a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for. (Although there is a bus right outside that will take you to downtown Vancouver, I was glad we had a car; it made getting back and forth quicker and cheaper.) Maureen was great; she had tons of suggestions for things to do in and around Vancouver. I would definitely stay here again!

  • We are a family of four and had a fantastic stay with Maureen and Lena Belle. Maureen is a fantastic host and we couldn't have asked for more. Such a treat to return to an oasis of calm after being out and about all day. Plus there are restaurants within walking distance and the views are fab. We will be back!

  • We stayed at Chez Momo for 7 nights and appreciated many aspects of our stay. Maureen was very welcoming, along with Lena Belle. She provided us with guidance and suggestions based on our interests, supplemented our kitchen resources as needed, and fresh herbs. The home is in a beautiful setting, location, and is very well kept. The location is great as a base for parks and day trips north of downtown, and is a short trip into downtown. We didn't have a car and were able to use public transportation to get to areas including Bowen Island easily. We look forward to visiting again when our daughter is older and doesn't require as much gear.

  • We enjoyed our stay Chez Momo and appreciated being able to host several barbeques with family members who were also in town. The neighbourhood is beautiful and the spacious rooms and patio worked well for us.

  • Chez Momo is such a beautiful place to stay at if you're in Vancouver. The Lions Gate bridge is nearby which connects you to downtown Vancouver. You can see the English Bay, parts of Stanley Park and the Lions Gate bridge from the house. The house is very clean and organized.

Maureen is a wonderful hostess. She has lot of maps and brochures out in the rooms for you to look through. She even emailed me some helpful tips on how to find the house (because trust me, you'll miss it if you don't slow down) and places to eat or visit. Wish we had more time to do all those things. She also has a poodle named Lena Belle. She's so well-trained and pretty. We really loved our stay at Chez Momo. Would love to stay there again if we go back to Vancouver.

About
I work in the world of design - advertising + editorial. I like to garden, ride my bike, do yoga and travel. I enjoy meeting people who come to stay at Chez Momo. Interests: art, architecture, nature, good food - wine + conversation. I love spending time with my Lena Belle (black standard poodle) on our adventures up in the hills & down at the beach. On my travels I enjoy staying at vacation rental properties ~ it is so much better than booking a hotel room. I've never been disappointed. I have made notes along the way to make sure I have everything one might want or need to feel comfortable + 'at home' when they come to stay at Chez Momo'. I like to think it's a special place for special people. So far everyone has been fantastic. It seems to be a favourite of the architects, landscape designers & modernist enthusiasts :)
