Stay on a working sheep farm in a private accommodation.

The flat includes bedroom, with double bed, bathroom with shower, living room/ kitchen. The sitting room also has a fold out sofa/bed that will sleep two. Entrance is private, and off the deck. The sitting room allows views of the surrounding fields with sheep grazing below.

Spend an evening on the deck and bar-b-que some local beef or fish. On a clear night the stars are spectacular. If it is raining, then light the fire in the solid fuel stove in the living room. The apartment has a flat screen TV (Irish channels) and WiFi. Parking is at the rear of the house just beside the stairs to the deck.

Laundry facilities are not on site, but are there are two service laundries in Dingle.

Dingle Town is about 3 1/2 miles from our front door. We are located just off the Slea Head Drive, possibly one of the most scenic drives in Ireland. In Dingle you will find shopping, dining and pubs. Dingle is a harbor village with a bustling night life. It is nice to be close to Town, but also nice to have the peaceful quite nights on the farm. Take a harbor boat ride out to meet Fungie, Dingle's resident dolphin. He has made Dingle his home for over 30 years now. You have a chance of getting up close and personal with him if you book a kayak. Horseback riding, hiking the Dingle Way, and clean beaches are all just minutes away.

Meanwhile, down on the farm . . . March through May is the lambing season, and so very busy on the farm. You can participate as much as you like. You may be able to assist with lambing, or bottle feed a lamb. Pregnant women are not recommended to come into contact with newly born lambs. The fields of our farm are yours for the roaming. We have spare wellies and farm coats on hand, so you don't have to dirty your own clothes, should you be out on the farm.

Note: The house is brown with a blue door. It is the only brown house with a blue door on this lane.
Please - No small children under the age of seven.
We are farmers, so we are early to bed and early to rise. The apartment is directly over our bedroom, so if you life style means you don't know night from day, then booking our accommodation, might not be suitable.
We hope to see you soon in Glin South Dingle Co. Kerry.
Pricing is based on two people sharing, additional people can be accommodated at an addition fee.

Beautiful flat with amazing views! Janet and Seamus provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed, lots of great books to look through, milk, coffee, and cereal for the morning. Watching the sheep and lambs was so entertaining and giving the lambs a bottle was the highlight of my stay! My husband hiked a bit with Seamus to round up a few sheep and said the views from the mountainside were gorgeous! Janet graciously met us near town when we arrived late, lost, and with a dead GPS after a long day of touring. I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful flat!! You won't regret it!

Jan and Seamus were great hosts! We were blown away by the scenery and the view on the hillside from the patio. Seamus took us to meet the lambs when we arrived and Jan showed us around the spacious and comfortable apartment. Their home is secluded and in a quiet farming area, but a short drive from Dingle town and all the pubs and restaurants. We even got to hear Jan play at a nearby pub and share a Guiness with Saemus. Highly, highly recommend this spot. We hope to visit again.

I don't even know where to begin with this review. Janet and Seamus's place is so exceptionally beautiful. They were there to great us when we arrived and within minutes we had been loaned a pair of wellies and invited out to help bottle-feed the baby lambs and feed the sheep. You will be surrounded by the most incredible beauty of Dingle from every angle. The cottage itself was delightful, comfortable. Janet and Seamus have gone beyond any host we had encountered. The place was set up with snacks, milk, cereal, jams and dozens of other things that anyone might need. It was like slipping into a family cottage. I can't recommend this place enough. Janet gave us some great tips of places to visit and things to do and we ended up doing most of them. Her advice made our few days in Dingle the highlight of our trip. The cottage is a 5km drive to the town. There is plenty of free parking in the evenings and you can wonder all over and enjoy the night life. We took advantage of the Sunset Kayaking...awesome. Again, on Janet's suggestion. I really hope to return again. If tranquillity and the stunning beauty of Ireland is what you are looking for, you will be overjoyed staying here.

Janet and Seamus' place was excellent! Clean and cozy, we really enjoyed our stay here. Bed was super comfortable and the shower was strong and hot. Best part was waking up to the sheep each morning and amazing views of the valley. A little hard to find at first, so definitely suggest arriving in daylight, but after you find it once, you'll be good!

We had a fantastic stay in the apartment, it was very cozy, comfortable, and clean. It had everything we could need, as well as personal touches that made it extra special (and a very comfy bed!). The fireplace was the perfect way to end our evenings especially after a chilly day, and it was wonderful to see the beautiful hills and sheep outside the window. Seeing the lambs up close and bottle feeding them was an amazing experience! It was great to learn more about the farm from Seamus and be part of it. Very clear directions on reaching the house (it's a short drive into Dingle). Really appreciated being invited to watch Jan play music and also all the recommendations both Jan and Seamus gave us. Would absolutely stay here again!

This was our second time staying here and I would have no trouble recommending it or staying again. Lovely place, people and quiet location on the farm!

This was a delightful accomodation, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bed with skyview window was a treat. And for our children, they were ecstatic about their sheep and lamb education immersion. Janet and Seamus were kind and enjoyable. We will return when our travels bring us to Dingle again!!
