Spend an evening on the deck and bar-b-que some local beef or fish. On a clear night the stars are spectacular. If it is raining, then light the fire in the solid fuel stove in the living room. The apartment has a flat screen TV (Irish channels) and WiFi. Parking is at the rear of the house just beside the stairs to the deck.
Laundry facilities are not on site, but are there are two service laundries in Dingle.
Dingle Town is about 3 1/2 miles from our front door. We are located just off the Slea Head Drive, possibly one of the most scenic drives in Ireland. In Dingle you will find shopping, dining and pubs. Dingle is a harbor village with a bustling night life. It is nice to be close to Town, but also nice to have the peaceful quite nights on the farm. Take a harbor boat ride out to meet Fungie, Dingle's resident dolphin. He has made Dingle his home for over 30 years now. You have a chance of getting up close and personal with him if you book a kayak. Horseback riding, hiking the Dingle Way, and clean beaches are all just minutes away.
Meanwhile, down on the farm . . . March through May is the lambing season, and so very busy on the farm. You can participate as much as you like. You may be able to assist with lambing, or bottle feed a lamb. Pregnant women are not recommended to come into contact with newly born lambs. The fields of our farm are yours for the roaming. For 25 Euro we will take you on a guided half day sojourn up to the top of the cliff, where you can look down over Conor Pass to Tralee Bay. We have spare wellies and farm coats on hand, so you don't have to dirty your own clothes should you be out on the farm.
Note: The house is brown with a blue door. It is the only brown house with a blue door on this lane.
Please - No small children under the age of seven.
We hope to see you soon in Glin South Dingle Co. Kerry.

Very nice and comfortable place, all mod cons. Nice views, can even see skellig michael from the window on a clear day. Only 10 min drive to the town. Would stay there again.
This was a great stay for us! Spacious, comfortable accommodations, working kitchen with supplies and breakfast makings, and more. Great location, on a working sheep farm. Seamus and his border collies rounded up the sheep, we bottle fed lambs, hiked an adjacent property, and really enjoyed the area. Jan and Seamus are excellent hosts, helpful, and flexible. We highly recommend this stay. It's very quiet, a few miles away from town, you'll be well rested and wake up to sheep and cattle in the distance, an amazing view, a private patio to enjoy your coffee/ tea. This was a memorable and fun stay for us.
This is a fabulous place to stay when visiting the Dingle Peninsula! The flat is clean and nicely decorated and the beds and shower are fantastic. Janet and Seamus are very welcoming and accommodating - friendly, but not intruding. We got a nice tour of the farm from Seamus and our daughter even got to feed the sheep. Janet is a musician and we got to hear her play a gig in town. It was great fun. The views from the apartment are breathtaking and we would definitely stay here again.
The experience was really great. Janet and Seamus were very welcoming and were happy to show us around their beautiful sheep farm. The place was clean, comfortable, and only a short drive to Dingle. Would definitely stay there again.
One of best areas on our trip, Dingle Peninsula is lovely. Apartment is tidy, well decorated, and the scenery around is outstanding. It was the perfect spot (sheep farm) to allow my parents a real Irish experience.
Such an amazing place! Exactly as described, if not better. Janet and Seamus were very welcoming but gave us our privacy. On arrival we went and fed the lambs with Seamus which was a really nice experience. The apartment was fully stocked as was the fridge with fresh butter, milk, eggs and everything you could need for cooking. The location was lovely and the views were fantastic. Would definitely stay there again!
Had a great time. Beautiful location, scenery was beautiful. The flat was very cute and spotlessly clean. Wished I had of stayed another night!
