Self-catering,boutique apartment accommodation.
The flat includes bedroom, with double bed, bathroom with shower, living room/ kitchen. Sofa/bed in sitting room also.
March through May is the lambing season. Great views and walks!
Our B&B en-suite has been so popular we have decided to add a self-catering Boutique apartment accommodation. So now you can stay on the sheep farm, in a private one bedroom flat.
The flat includes bedroom, with double bed, bathroom with shower, living room/ kitchen. The sitting room also has a fold out sofa/bed that will sleep two. Entrance is private, and off the deck. The sitting room allows views of the surrounding fields with sheep grazing below.
Spend an evening on the deck and bar-b-que some local beef or fish. On a clear night the stars are spectacular. If it is raining, then light the fire in the solid fuel stove in the living room. The apartment has a flat screen TV (Irish channels) and WiFi. Parking is at the rear of the house just beside the stairs to the deck.
Laundry facilities are not on site, but are there are two service laundries in Dingle.
Dingle Town is about 3 1/2 miles from our front door. We are located just off the Slea Head Drive, possibly one of the most scenic drives in Ireland. In Dingle you will find shopping, dining and pubs. Dingle is a harbor village with a bustling night life. It is nice to be close to Town, but also nice to have the peaceful quite nights on the farm. Take a harbor boat ride out to meet Fungie, Dingle's resident dolphin. He has made Dingle his home for over 30 years now. You have a chance of getting up close and personal with him if you book a kayak. Horseback riding, hiking the Dingle Way, and clean beaches are all just minutes away.
Meanwhile, down on the farm . . . March through May is the lambing season, and so very busy on the farm. You can participate as much as you like. You may be able to assist with lambing, or bottle feed a lamb. Pregnant women are not recommended to come into contact with newly born lambs. The fields of our farm are yours for the roaming. For 25 Euro we will take you on a guided half day sojourn up to the top of the cliff, where you can look down over Conor Pass to Tralee Bay. We have spare wellies and farm coats on hand, so you don't have to dirty your own clothes should you be out on the farm.
Please - No small children in nappies. We don't have any way to dispose of those.
We hope to see you soon in Glin South Dingle Co. Kerry.
Roam the hills and fields.

The apartment was lovely. Very tidy and well-equipped. Janet and Seamus are both very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this apartment to others.
Without a doubt, the best Christmas I have ever had. My husband, brother, and his girlfriend spent 3 nights over Christmas with Janet & Seamus and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE. The flat is perfect for 2 couples, and has ample room, a great kitchen, very clean, a fireplace, and a deck with THE BEST VIEW IN IRELAND. On top of the perfect place to stay, our hosts were amazing. Seamus let us handle some sheep and hike up their property. They also gave us our very own private tour of Slea Head Drive on Christmas Day (something they did NOT have to do with their holiday!). They are kind, gracious, and there for anything you may need. I am so happy we booked this instead of staying in Dingle town (which is only a 3 min drive away anyway!). If you are looking for a space in Dingle, do not look anywhere else... I cannot rave enough about this property. Overall, the flat is perfect, the property is perfect, and the hosts are perfect. We are already talking about when we can come back!
We arrived on bleak winter evening, but all was well once we got inside the flat. It was warm and a fire was set in the stove ready for lighting. We settled in nicely to this very homely place, perfect for up to four people. Jan had left the basics for breakfast in the fridge, which was very welcome. We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend at the flat, as it was out of Dingle town and surrounded by farms, but close enough to make the most of the craic there too.
We loved staying here! The flat was very cute, clean, and comfortable. Jan was a good communicator and made our arrival seamless. Jan and Seamus were excellent hosts. We heard some music we'd have never known about if not for their tips! Seamus took us up the hill to help feed the sheep and we had some incredible views from up there and got some memorable pics. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
The accomodation was great. We arrived late but found the house ok with the directions Janet provided. The apartment in the roof had good hot water & water pressure with a combustion fire we used each night.
This new, attractive boutique flat was super clean, comfortable and private. It boasts picturesque views of the farm and the surrounding countryside from the lounge room and is well equipped with everything you could possibly need.
We loved staying here in this well located flat just a few minutes drive from Dingle.
Thanks Janet for all of your thoughtful touches and thanks Seamus for taking us out to feed the sheep. We had a most memorable stay at your place in Dingle.
My husband and I spent a lovely 2nights at Janet & Seamus's sheep farm just outside Dingle. The accommodation is warm & welcoming with everything you need for a comfortable holiday.
We were thrilled to see Janet had also provided us with all the requirements for breakfast the next morning so there was no rush to get to the supermarket and we could sit on the deck and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The flat is beautifully decorated with quality fittings and is a credit to the owners.
If you are looking for something different away from the usual tourist traps but still close enough to enjoy lovely Dingle then this is the place for you.
