Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Nestled against a backdrop of native bush and open dairy pasture, you will be surrounded by wildlife.
Hear the call of the Australian Cockatoo or the cackle of the Laughing Kookaburra. Watch in awe as a Wedge-tailed Eagle soars overhead or (if they're in the paddock beside the house) enjoy the site and sound of our dairy cows munching the lush, organic pastures of our dairy farm!

The space
Experience the charm of a rustic log cabin with all the comforts and amenities of home set amidst acres of native bush and wide open dairy pasture.

Enjoy wood floors throughout, Baltic pine worktops and luxurious leather recliners.
Amenities downstairs include open kitchen/dining, wood heater, TV and DVD area, reading snug and toilet/shower room.

Upstairs are 2 large double bedrooms comprising a double and single bed in one and a double and two singles in the other.
A well-appointed bathroom offers bath, shower, basin and toilet.

Enjoy breakfast on the sunny deck while our dairy cows enjoy theirs in the paddock beside!

Or snuggle up inside beside the wood heater with a good book or an old movie.

For the young (and young at heart!) there is a trampoline, boules, cricket, games, toys
and a wide selection of popular family movies.

With plenty to keep you entertained right on your doorstep, you can do as much or as little as you please!

Where you’ll be

Mawbanna, Tasmania, Australia

Mawbanna is an agricultural area producing milk, beef and honey. It comprises farmland, native bush and temperate rain forest. Mawbanna is situated 10 mins drive inland from the coast. A short 5-minute drive North will take you to the start of the Milicent Valley hiking trail for views out to sea and right across the lush farm-land of Mawbanna or head South to find Dip Falls and Blue Hills Honey Farm. Colony Cafe can be found on site at Blue Hills Honey Farm and offers first-rate coffee, cakes and light lunches.

Further afield is the historic township of Stanley. A colonial, seaside village nestled in the shadow of the iconic 'Nut'. The famous Nut is an immense flat-topped volcanic plug rising 150m straight up from the water's edge. Climb to the top to view breathtaking 360-degree views or take the gentle chair ride.

Offering pristine beaches, parks, cafes, restaurants, boutiques and galleries there is plenty to suit all tastes.

Back in 2017, we had an epiphany! Our conventional farming methods were killing our soil, inadequately feeding our animals and therefore producing inferior quality foods for our customers. No more herbicides or pesticides for our farm! For the benefit of our health, animal health and the health of the planet, we are now regenerative, organic farmers and happier and healthier for it. Come and find out how! xx
