Comfort is such a unique little town and being so close to everything makes it the perfect destination! Sometimes it's just a quiet day on the creek or maybe a little drive to Luckenbach, stop by Alamo Springs for the best Hamburger in Texas, or grab a pizza at Comfort Pizza. It's never boring, always peaceful and always beautiful.
The downtown historic district is within walking distance and bicycle rentals are available downtown. You will need a car to travel to popular nearby towns such as Luckenbach and Fredericksburg.

We had the most amazing & relaxing stay at Camp Comfort this past weekend. The B&B is located on a serene lot that backs up to a beautiful flowing creek with large trees & benches to just sit & chill & enjoy nature. The grounds are very well kept & our room was EXACTLY as pictured. The environment is very relaxed & we only saw other guests in passing. The hosts are on-sight & just a quick call away. The little town of Comfort has amazing restaurants & fun shops, everyone we encountered was friendly & helpful. There's this little pasture between the camp & town where deer just hang out...it was just beautiful! Overall, we absolutely loved our visit & will return in the future for sure!
The place was amazing and clean. Camp comfort is so charming. It was just the quiet get away we needed.
Lisa was very helpful in making our stay a wonderful experience. She put a little welcome gift together for us ... Diet Dr Pepper & Diet Coke with M&'s ... it a guilty little pleasure that my Cousin & I enjoy for our girl's weekend get togethers! Lisa also gave us a wonderful suggestions for the local foodies .. Comfort Pizza was excellent dining fun. A funky little place to have a glass a wine & wood burning oven pizza! Our room was spacious & very accommodating for couples or in case a girl's weekend trip. My only regret was that the weekend end so quickly. We were too tired to take advantage of the nice outdoor patio setup in the evening with that lovely pitfire blazing. But, we did take advantage of the deep Jacuzzi tub to soak after spending all day in Fredericksburg shopping. Thank you again - Lisa for making our stay so stress free!
What an incredible place. We arrived a little late in the evening, but found a perfectly set up room with every detail thought of. We have stayed at so many places in the hill country and this is hands down the best place around. We fell in love with the quiet, the coffee, the fires, and the comfy bed. We will be returning many times. Thank you so much!
About the Host, Lisa
My husband Phil and I love Comfort, Texas. In 2012, we sold our Bed & Breakfast in New Braunfels, Texas in the Historic District of Gruene on the Guadalupe River and headed straight for Comfort. It's the perfect little town and we can't imagine living anywhere else!
