This modern cedar cabin, built in 2017 on 3.5 private picturesque acres, is close to fishing, hiking, hot springs, skiing, golfing & even has its own sled hill on the property! Abundant wildlife & more stars than you can count make your stay memorable.

With both shopping/dining and majestic Colorado mountains and rivers to play in nearby, Loma Ponderosa is a quiet refuge with all the comforts of home.

Pagosa Springs, Colorado, is a year-round destination for outdoor enthusiasts, boasting world-class skiing in the winter and just about every kind of outdoor activity you can imagine over the summer. From hiking to mountain biking, river rafting to fishing, and climbing to mountaineering, you’re guaranteed to find a good time in this Rocky Mountain paradise.

Newly built in 2017, the cedar cabin on 3.5 picturesque acres has both a large front porch and a smaller porch at the side entrance. The side porch has chairs for you to sip coffee in the morning or catch a view of the stars at night, as well as a gas grill for grilling up delicious meals.

The front entrance leads to the large open living area, dining area, and kitchen. The open living area has a vaulted ceiling above a deep couch and double chair facing the stonework gas fireplace for relaxing, with internet accessible TV above. Enjoy outing up on the couch with spectacular views out of the two large picture windows.

The large dining table seats up to 8 with bench seating on either side. The kitchen features all new appliances, including a large french door fridge, dishwasher, microwave and gas range, complete with a walk-in pantry. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the essentials, pots and pans, a large crock pot, dutch oven, and microwave. A coffee bar is a welcome convenience on crisp Colorado mornings.

The master bath and bedroom, guest bath and bedroom, and laundry closet are on the main level. The master bedroom offers a king-sized log bed, large master bath, walk-in closet and office space work area. The hand-crafted log desk is ready for any writing or work while you’re away with a strong wifi connection. The master bedroom also has its own bathroom with walk in shower and double vanity. The guest room offers a queen-sized log bed with walk in closet, with the guest bath located directly across the hallway.

The upper level is a large bunk room with log bunk beds, seating space and TV/DVD player, as well as a lofted reading/game nook. Please be advised, there is no door to the loft, and is open by staircase to the main area below. Books and games for guests of all ages located throughout the home.

You can often spot the neighboring herd of horses, or local wildlife such as fox, elk and deer, when walking the property. And of course, don’t forget to gaze at the stars at night..... there are more than you can count!

Our cabin is the perfect spot to relax after a day full of local adventures: summer paddle boarding, hiking, golfing, mountain biking, river rafting, inner tubing, mountain Jeeping, fishing, horseback trail riding; with winter skiing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides; and all year-round hot springs, breweries, restaurants, shopping and more. Sledding on our property is some of the best around and there is plenty of room to explore in the warmer months.
