I love my village because its so quiet and peaceful,
Its also midway between Belmopan and San Ignacio
for groceries and the market, San Ignacio is the best market in Belize. Its also close to Spanish Lookout and the Mennonite community, they have everything, if you cant get it there its not in Belize. The best ice-cream, beautiful park, lovely people.
The Ruins, caves, blue hole, Big rock falls, ATM, our little zoo.
Busses run every half an hour, Sundays about every hour.
Parking is available.
Busses run from the city and pass my place on the highway, Taxis charge around 100 Belize dollars for that trip.
Other Things to Note
When you come to Foresters Lodge we will go out of our way to make you feel at home, we make sure you have some essentials to start you off, i.e foods such as fruits, tea coffee, juice, sodas and even a beer or two. If you arrive on a holiday or weekend we will get some supplies for you for when you arrive. Just tell us what you need.
Hey, enjoy the peace and quiet and the homely atmosphere. We would like however that you take care of all the household items, furniture, crockery etc.
Conserve energy, switch off unnecessary lights. Water is caught from the roof in vats so only when it rains we can fill them. We don't often run out but sometimes we get an unusually dry season.
