Good communication is a key factor for a successful, and stress free reservation. As an Airbnb host, it is my priority to ensure that my guests feel welcome, comfortable, and completely satisfied with my services. As of today, I have had more than thirty bookings for which, I have made sure to answer all questions and concerns in a timely manner. With the exception of your arrival, all the others have been relaxed and as planned, even when plans change because there is clear communication. There are several inconsistencies in your statement because on 12/08/17 after you booked, you texted me at 10:01 p.m. saying that your plane would arrive on your reservation date, 1/18/18 at 7:30 p.m., that you would rent a car, and would be arriving at my house at 9:00 or 9:30 p.m., instead, it landed at 2:00 p.m. Yes, you needed to communicate these changes with me. You said you called me and texted me several times on your way to my place, but I only have two texts on 01/18/18 at 5:25 p.m. saying that you are eight minutes away, and another at 5:34 p.m. saying, outside now, also, I have only one miss call. That is a four hour difference from the original plans, which you failed to communicate with me. I was cleaning the patio, but my husband was inside the house, he said he did not hear anyone nocking. At 8:00 p.m., I came inside to send you a welcome message assuming you had arrived and on your way to rent your car. I am sorry that your lack of communication resulted in this stressful situation for both of us; I was looking forward to hosting you and making you feel at home. I am sure we would have have a very positive impression on each other because you too, seem like a nice person.
