Cathy's Little Farm loft is a 500 sq ft apartment inside a storage barn on a wooded country acre. Fully appointed two story space offers peace and quiet. It is located close to I57, Walmart, Community College, Airport, Fair Grounds, National Guard Training Center, 15 minutes from Olivet, 60 miles south of Chicago. King size bed and twin size sofa sleeper upstairs, full size sleeper sofa in living room. Well equipped full size kitchen and laundry. Large lawn, gardens, and chickens to enjoy.

Our barn is located on a paved county road in a sparsely residential neighborhood surrounded by farms. The neighbors are all related in some way and are very friendly.

Larry is a die hard water skier, so in 1987 we built a home beside the river in historical Kankakee. We are a Christian couple who love to share our home and the river with others. We raised our 2 children here and housed college students in the loft apartment above the garage. Cathy is a farmer at heart so we bought a wooded acre at a land auction. We spent the winter clearing it and Cathy grows vegetables and flowers. In 2017 Larry built the barn on the lot to store boats. To satisfy zoning ordinances he added the Farm Loft and listed it on Airbnb. We enjoyed meeting the people who stayed in the barn loft so in 2019 we listed the River loft on Airbnb.
