This is a charming cottage with a spectacular lake view. Sunsets are awesome. It's very private and quiet. Spacious, well fitted out, and well organized. Bed in master is soooo comfy, and cozy, with an awesome view of the lake--seems like sleeping outdoors! Kitchen has everything you need. TV and Wifi also both good. Hope to stay here again.

Caragh Heights Cottage is a perfect location to explore County Kerry yet it offers tranquil beauty for days when you need a bit of a respite from the road. Our hostess, Annette, was gracious and attentive. Communicating with Annette was fast, easy and she was always clear and thoughtful in her responses. Annette warmly welcomed us into her cottage, yet she remained professional and appropriate at all times. Annette’s place was spotless while also being pleasantly comfortable. It was nicely furnished with thoughtful touches including insightful guides to area attractions. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the showers were hot. Staying at Caragh Heights Cottage was a dream. Upon arrival, we emerged from a tree canopied road and winding drive to a grand vista of mountain, sky and lake. The cottage is made of stone and blends beautifully with the dense, lush vegetation surrounding it. The cottage has many large windows to take in the view from the inside and a lovely patio for outside enjoyment. The sounds of birds filled the air with the occasional pheasant flying past. Caragh Heights Cottage put us within easy reach of all our interests on the Iveragh Peninsula such as the Ring of Kerry, Killarney National Park, Gap of Dunloe, Staigue Stone Fort and the Kenmare Druid Circle. We were also very near the Dingle Peninsula with such sites as Inch Beach, Slea Head Drive, Riasc Monastic Settlement, Gallarus Oratory and the Conor Pass. The cottage is perfectly situated for day trips into Killarney, Kenmare or Dingle Town, though we hold a special place in our hearts for the nearby village of Glenbeigh and Rossbeigh Strand. My family had a wonderful time at Caragh Heights Cottage and I find my thoughts drifting back there regularly. We can’t wait to return and thank Annette for allowing us to enjoy her place in paradise.

This gorgeous spot was just as advertised. The large windows provided a view of Ireland we will never forget. For inexperienced foreign drivers especially, bring in a nice bit of food stuffs and beverages. You may not want to venture away!

This is a beautiful home with incredible views, clean, cozy and central to a lot of "must see" places in Ireland. We had the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Annette is very kind, quick to respond to any questions - just lovely. Anyone that can stay here, should! Sarah and Chris
