3 Bedroom in the heart of Brooklyn!
Here we have a bright and sunny, newly renovated apartment in the heart of Brooklyn; 2 Blocks from Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanical Garden! The apartment is located along the B and Q metro lines, at Prospect Park Train Station, only 4 stops to Manhattan! The neighborhood is filled with life, and plenty of great places to eat and explore. Considered a "cultural enclave" Lefferts Gardens is the perfect mix between Brooklyn life, and City life. Just 2 train stops from the coveted Barclays Center, and nearly all train connections to all over New York at Atlantic Avenue.
"I enjoy the sense of minimalism and space in this apartment, it gives me the ability to think freely without all the clutter of my life back home." - Thoughts of a Guest
With that in mind, imagine waking up to clarity and sunlight, without the distractions of life keeping you from exploring and enjoying your visit to the most famous city in the world. I've kept the room descriptions to a minimum (naturally), because the pictures do a better job of showing you what the rooms actually look like.
ATTENTION: I would just like to note that this is my personal apartment, and not a hotel. That being said, if you are interested in having a gathering or throwing a party, then this is not the apartment for you! You should treat this apartment the same way you would treat your Grandma's house. You should leave the apartment as your found it, and if you move something, please put it back.
The first of three bedrooms sports a full sized bed, mini palm tree, and a modern green vibe. Great for everyone from couples to the lone adventurer. This room promotes clear thinking and relaxation. There is little noise at night, as the window overlooks a calm courtyard rather than the busy street. I recommend this room for the light sleepers out there.
Room number two boasts perfect symmetry for your aesthetic pleasure, Here you'll find side by side twin beds, and matching side tables, equipped with identical lamps for ultimate dual climate control. A clothing rack and large "malm" dresser are also available for your pleasure. In addition to being the biggest room, room number two also has the most space for the heavy packers! This room is great for siblings, couples, and friends.
Last, but certainly not least, is room number three. A folding sewing table, large open floor space and lots of storage make room number three both fashionable and functional. Although there is only one bed, there is plenty of room for expansion; with more than enough square footage to bring your own air mattress or sleeping bag! Room number three is great for everyone!
There are free Towels, Sheets, and ofcourse FREE WiFi throughout the apartment; I will provide you will all of the appropriate information upon your arrival. In addition, I have outfitted all of the beds with mattress covers, all cabinets and outlets with child safety locks, and all linens are changed/washed separately after after guest! I also offer transport for up to 4 people to and from the airport. $30 to JFK/LaGaurdia and $45 to Newark, which is significantly less than any taxi!
There is parking readily available in front of the building and on both sides of the street. It is free, and there are almost always spots available. You just have to move your car during the specified street cleaning days (2 days a week for 2-4 hours).
Feel free you take advantage of all the common space in the apartment.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to whip up a quick bite to eat or dinner for everyone. There is a gas cooking range, a luxury for some; a full set of pots and pans, a Bose Soundlink, and even a juicer! In the corner you'll find a restaurant style booth-table equipped with four chairs, which coincidentally I have not put up pictures of yet.
In the living room you'll find a nice assortment of comfortable furniture, including a mini-conference table and luxury sofa set.
You will have 5-minute-or-less access to the Metro stations, major grocery stores, laundromat, bodegas, and gas station.
I urge you to contact me with any questions or concerns about anything I may have left out! I am open to special offers, so please do not hesitate to ask.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Guests will have full, private access to the entire apartment.
Interaction with Guests
I will meet and greet you to let you in, after that, it's up to you! I am on call 24/7!

Russ was very nice and replied my questions and my text messages promptly. The apartment was perfect: spacious and clean and the area is very convenient. I would definitely go back!
Russell's apartment was perfect! While I didn't have the opportunity to meet Russell face-to-face, he was a wonderful host who went out of his way to make sure our trip went well. The neighborhood has plenty of shops & restaurants within steps of the apartment, and the Prospect Park Metro is just a couple of blocks away. I would absolutely recommend Russell's apartment to anyone looking for a great spot in Brooklyn. A+++ on all fronts!
This booking went wrong because my wife was diagnosed with a stress fracture of the tibia the day before we flew to NY. This rendered Russ' flat [up a lot of stairs, no lift] and it's location [not that close to the subway etc] a non-starter - we had to make different plans.
Not a bad spot for a great rate. Really close to Prospect Park. Outside of the noisy radiators, there's nothing negative to say about the place. It was a great value for the rate I payed.
The apartment was clean and in a convenient location near a couple of subway lines, and with a supermarket just steps away.
There was a mixup with obtaining the key upon arrival, but a quick phone call to Russ cleared it up. As people have mentioned, there is a nightclub across the street which is quite noisy on weekend nights, but it was only noticeable from the one bedroom at the front. The other two bedrooms face a quiet courtyard. Just to let everyone know, it is a very old building. There are no closets and the rooms are small and sparse. We would have appreciated more toilet paper and soap, as we had to buy these on our own.
Russel was the best! Very considerate and tried to make everything to make us feel like home. He was there everytime we needed!
The place was very warm and comfy, the shower had the best water pressure ever. Very good location, had everything around.
The only two problems were: the neighborhood was very noisy at night and the cleaning was kinda disappointing.
But afterall was a good experience.
The apartment was nice and as shown in the photos. My uncle was very pleased there was a juicer. There is no toaster or kettle, but there is a coffee machine you can use. The shower is very good.
Its very close to the station, the botanical gardens (free when we were there) and Tom's which had a good brunch. On your way to the apartment you walk straight past a Western Beef supermarket which is helpful for picking up bits.
20 mins on the train to central Manhattan, also 2 stops from the Atlantic Ave with the Barclays Centre sports stadium, home of the Brooklyn Nets which is a good day out.

My name is Russell, I'm a young adult living in New York. I grew up along the Atlantic coast of the United States. My Mother is from Florida, and My Dad from Brooklyn. I use Airbnb because I like being able to contribute to a movement of easier, less stressful, and more exciting travel experiences for everyone. Most of my listings are very minimal. I think that having a clear head starts with having a clear space to live in.
