Stunning designer white LOFT: 2 BEDROOMS + 2 full BATHROOMS en suite, AC, 2 balconies, spacious 80m2 (860 square feet), and capacity for 6 people. Both rooms are isolated and separated from the rest, despite the open plan of the living. And futon as third bed if needed.

To be honest, you won't find designer lofts on Airbnb Madrid or on such a unique location. This loft combines: modernist space with designer furniture, double balcony veranda, fine art on the walls, and privileged location.

Location is truly priviledged!: 2 balconies facing popular CHUECA Square, a locals favorite pedestrian spot, totally central, just 5 minutes’ walk to GRAN VIA, Madrid's art deco avenue. Short walking distance to Fuencarral shopping street, central hub SOL and Prado Museum. Metro station is right at the entrance, but you barely need it, as you may walk everywhere. Easy access from the airport.

Reopened Mercado de San Anton is right on the corner, and a trendy food spot in Madrid: 2 penthouse restaurants, excellent tapas and wines, gourmet bakery and groceries.

Feel the difference of a boutique loft. There is plenty of room for you to experience true comfort. The ceilings are 3.3m high and everything is white, providing space and brightness. An elegant living room includes a “Tulip” dining table, 4 Eames chairs, and a gorgeous bookstore from 1950 that contains art catalogs, travel guides and a 32” Plasma TV. A large artistic photograph of Nepal and modern lamps add simplistic style.

Two floor-to-ceiling balconies overlook the attractive square. Windows are equipped with double glazed isolation to assure a quiet stay. Guests often mention how you can see the lively street life without hearing anything.

The awe-inspiring master bedroom has a large photograph from Burma as a headboard, which provides privacy to the modernly designed white bathroom. Find complete seclusion in the quiet second bedroom with its own full bathroom.

The large kitchen contains an additional dining table for your breakfasts, a family sized refrigerator/freezer, induction oven, and even a dishwasher (who wants to wash dishes on vacation?). The vintage mirror and lamps make this a truly chic kitchen!

What other apartment offers this level of luxury in the heart of Madrid?

Up to 6 people. You will feel at ease in its 2 double bedrooms. Both rooms are isolated despite the living room’s open plan, and the futon in the living room serves as a third bed for 2 people if needed.

With a 5 min. walking distance to Gran Via, and Chueca Square as the epicenter, neighborhood Chueca has probably become the most frequented area in Madrid over the last years.

Known by locals as a eating and shopping area, discover both modern Spanish and world cuisine restaurants, as well as a shopping district with trendy stores (like Fuencarral pedestrian street). Sunny sidewalk cafes and rooftop bars are places to see and be seen, with fashionable people, or just anybody interested in the vibe of this unique and cosmopolitan spot. And variety of spots to have a drink at night.

Young entrepreneurs run small modern bakeries, hairdressers, clothing boutiques, bookstores, cafes...with lots of character. Find also big supermarkets (Opencor, Dia...) or the remarkable Mercado de San Anton, with its penthouse restaurant.

  • Location ! Location! Location! The loft is in the centre of Chueca. Steps from the San Anton Market (wonderful tapas and fresh sea food). The location is perfect for exploring Madrid. The flat is very comfortable. Jose was very accommodating and was in contact before, during and after our stay.
    Gracias Jose,

  • Very clean flat, exactly as shown in the photos and the location is unbeatable. Jose is attentive, responded to any question we had on the spot and was very accommodating about our late arrival.

    Thanks again!

  • I love this place in the heart of Chueca, right on the plaza about 25 paces from the Metro, and about a 15-second walk from fancy, upscale San Anton Market. I was gob-stopped at how convenient and easy it was to get to on the Metro. Speaking of the Metro, I bought a pass and ended up only using it to get to and from Atocha and Barajas b/c the apartment is so conveniently located to walk everywhere in the city. I even walked to Atocha to meet a friend who was passing through (about 15 minutes).

Though I was only there with my dad, the place would be perfect for two couples. The kitchen is truly stocked with everything you need to cook at home. The two bedrooms -- one on front and one in the back of the apt. -- have fantastic (and cleverly done) bathrooms en suite, the entire apartment is beautifully updated with new, clean fridge, stove, dishwasher, counter tops: everything you need including real dishes and glasses and stemware, not someone's leftovers or broken starter plates. It's tough to decide whether to eat in or not!

It's warm and cozy, with plenty of real towels and extra blankets and pillows. The windows in the living room -- which is the only room with exterior windows -- are floor-to-ceiling and let in loads of light or no light at all when you close the folding, (I think original) wooden shutters. The kitchen and back bedroom have windows on the interior of the building, so the apartment never feels like a cave.

Next door, there is a great fruit/vegetable place and a popular casual cafe/bar just across from the apartment, as well as countless chic Chueca bars and restaurants within a two-minute amble. The San Anton market, though really trendy, has tasty stuff both ready-to-eat and for cooking at home: this includes things like Emu eggs. The best thing, though, is that you're in a real neighborhood, so there are very few obnoxious tourists. Those foreigners who are there are eager to immerse themselves into Madrileno life.

Oscar met me within minutes of my arrival, even though I was early, and checking out was as easy as leaving the key on the table. I lacked nothing, but Jose nonetheless checked in with me a few times to make sure I was happy.

I really can't recommend this place highly enough. My only caveat would be that, being in a real apartment building and fronting a real Spanish plaza, expect outside noise -- though the balcony windows and shutters block much of that -- and expect to hear neighbors coming and going. It's not a characterless 21st century soundproof hotel: it's a real, 19th century (I think?) building. Do not expect everyone to go to bed (before 3am or at all) on the weekends. To be fair, you shouldn't, either: this is Madrid. Ser un Gato!

After being there 10 minutes I was ready to move in permanently.

  • We really enjoyed the apartment and the location, eventhough we didn't spend much time there because there were so many things to do in Madrid. The mercado on the corner was fantastic value, through the week you can have breakfast for the 2€ each and the roof top restaurant was very good.

Thank you so much allowing us to have a late check out as our flight wasn't till 10pm that gave us an extra day for sight seeing.

  • The loft is a jewel;though the photos make it appear a tad larger than it is, the space is stylish and extremely comfortable. Despite its premier location right on Plaza de Chueca (steps from the metro), the picture windows are perfectly soundproofed. The WiFi works flawlessly. As does the A/C (despite one idiosyncrasy). All in all, a splendid choice in Madrid. Thanks to Jose and his team for a "dream stay."
