Hi, I'm Farris. Welcome to my Airbnb! Owning a Bed & Breakfast has always been a dream of mine. In 2017, Air B&B helped me make this dream a reality. My goal is to make you feel as comfortable here as I do. My personal interests include: history, music, cooking, gardening, reading and entertaining. I am privileged to be able to combine a few of these pleasures as an Air B&B host! I am a native of Montgomery, AL. Our city has a rich history, being both "The Cradle of the Confederacy" as well as "The Birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement". I love history and am very knowledgeable about our city's past. I am of a "certain" age , meaning that I have memories of Montgomery during the Civil Rights Movement first hand. I moved to Minneapolis, where I lived for 35 years before retiring and returning to Montgomery. I am very active in my neighborhood, serving on several boards and committees dedicated to the betterment of my community. My neighborhood is a historic landmark, nestled in a quiet corner of Downtown Montgomery. I chose this home because of its beauty and its historical relevance. I am readily available to assist you with any questions you may have. Feel free to ask about any of the local attractions, entertainment venues or local restaurants. Also, if you would like to learn more about the historical aspects of the city, please do not hesitate to ask me. I am here to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Please come and visit me.
