This 1-bedroom, 775 sq ft apartment is close to downtown, UNC and major roadways, but it also has a quiet wooded view. Guests have their own entrance down a landscaped path, a kitchenette (mini-fridge, sink, microwave, toaster, hot-water kettle, french press with freshly ground coffee), and a full bathroom with tub. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the brand new sofa bed in the living room is a double that sleeps another two. We provide a permit for on-street parking for one car. The whole house is pet and smoke free.
The entire apartment is for guest use. We provide bedding and towels, basic toiletries, hair-dryer, iron, etc. There is no laundry, but enquire for longer stays - we live upstairs and will work something out.
Interaction with Guests
We live upstairs and will be home to greet you and show you around. Please let us know when you plan to arrive so we can arrange to be there. We are always reachable by phone/txt for any needs that should arise. If we happen to be out of town during your visit, special arrangements will be made.
We live in a quiet subdivision, within walking distance to UNC and Chapel Hill's downtown.
The free Chapel Hill busses run on Martin Luther King blvd, just steps from the Columbia Pl subdivision. Parking in our neighborhood requires passes, which we will provide for one car (or, in the case of 1-2 day visit, for 2 cars). If you are bringing more than one car for a longer period of time, please enquire so we can make arrangements.
