The Space

Cute private bedroom available in a nice two bedroom apartment in Spanish Harlem.
The apartment is sunny, clean, and well ventilated with windows in every room. Your room is looking North, facing the street. Across is a cute community garden with a park, basketball hoops and a children's playground.

We are conveniently located half a block from the number 6 subway at 103rd and Lexington and two blocks from Central Park. Museum Mile, also know as Fifth Avenue, is also two blocks away with access to dozens of world class art and cultural institutions. We are also just a few blocks from the Upper East Side--a neighborhood known for fashion, shopping, and fine cuisine. In addition, Spanish Harlem is filed with its own list of delicious and affordable restaurants. We live in an up-and-coming neighborhood enriched with a fascinating political and cultural history!

You would share the common spaces with my girlfriend and I: a large and well equipped kitchen which you are more than welcome to use, a central living/dinning room, and a compact and efficient bathroom with a tub and shower.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions and we look forward to accommodating you in our lovely home.

  • We met Noelle and Paul just one day but the welcoming was great and they were willing to help us and solve any issue or need. The overall experience was good, the location of the apartment just a few meters from metro line 6 makes it the perfect place to explore New York and in the same street you can find many places to eat or buy almost anything if you want to cook. The only drawback we could add maybe is that the street is also a bit noisy and you can hear people and a nearby railway but we were so tired while going to sleep that it wasn't a problem.

  • Situation parfaite à - de 5 mn de Central Park et à 1 mn du métro;
    L'accueil de Noelle et de Paul est parfait, chaleureux et sympathique; les 2 hôtes sont toujours disponibles pour prodiguer quelque conseil judicieux (encore merci pour la traversée de l'East River en cabine).
    Rapport qualité prix défiant toute concurrence.

  • My girlfriend Johanna and I stayed at Noelle and Paul's place for a week, and it was amazing. They have a really nice, clean and cozy apartment with a lot of character. Plus, the proximity to the Line 6 Subway station is so convenient. Although we met Noelle only on our last day in New York, she and Paul had ensured that we get the keys to their apartment on time for our stay, and it was very nice to talk to her. We would strongly recommend to stay with Paul and (website hidden): There is an awesome bagel shop on Lexington and 77th street that you can hop out for a quick bite or takeout when taking the Subway from their place to Downtown!

Hello, We are Noelle and Paul. We have been living in New York for the past 6 years. Paul grew up in Paris, France while Noelle was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. We love to travel and enjoy hiking nearly as much as a good book or a nice dinner with friends. We also enjoy cooking, and appreciate arts in general but architecture especially. Paul studied architecture and engineering and currently work (email hidden) in New York. Noelle studied political science and now works in local economic development. We are clean, mindful and respectful !
