Overall Guest Satisfaction

  • A lovely space to get away from the hectic streets of Napoli. Annamaria was a great host, ever so helpful with information about the city & making us feel welcome.

    Response from Annamaria:

    Thank you very much!

  • Staying at Annamaria's B&B will allow you to feel like you are a local, not a tourist, which is a unique experience. She is a very thoughtful and gracious hostess. We loved the breakfast she served every morning, you can select from a few options when you arrive; she makes amazing espresso! B&B Sant'Elmo is located on the top floor of a gated courtyard, decorated with artwork, her handmade necklaces and succulent plants on the window sills. The B&B definitely feels like an oasis amidst the rush of the scooters and pedestrians in the streets below. Annamaria was very helpful with instructions getting us to/from her place from the airport. (Definitely use the bus to Centrale Station; it is easy, fast, and a short walk) She also has a lot of suggestions as to where to eat nearby; we enjoyed dinner at La Campagnola. Since B&B Sant'Elmo is near the train station it is very easy to plan a day trip to Pompeii or continue on to Sorrento. I enjoyed (trying) to converse with Annamaria in Italian. She speaks English well!

  • Annamaria was a very welcoming host, my partner and I stayed at her B&B for 1 night before heading further down the coast of Italy. Very good distance from the main train station in Naples, was convenient for the shuttle pick up we had planned. thank you.

    Response from Annamaria:

If in the future you will return to Naples to visit, an day of accommodation in my B and B will be free for you!
    Thank you,

  • Annamaria is a marvelous host, providing us a full breakfast with Napoli style coffee each morning, telling us about art happenings round the neighborhood and just sharing her home with us in a warm and congenial way. Her apartment is right in the heart of things in Napoli in the mix of narrow streets, laundry hanging from windows, scooters swooping by. We enjoyed being part of a real neighborhood and everyday Napoli life. Thank you Annamaria

  • We loved being at Annamaria's BnB. She was very warm and welcoming. The breakfast is the best we had in Italy. She lives in a lovely apartment in a working class neighborhood an easy walk from the train station. She is also very close to the museums and sights of Naples. When we return to Naples, I hope she has a room for us. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have an Naples experience, away from the tourist but close to the sights.

Did not meet Annamaria -but we were looked after very well - good recomendation on places to eat and organised taxi to take us to the airport.

  • We arrived right on time and the instructions from the train station to Annamaria's B&B, which is tucked away off the main street. The courtyard and building are secure and she was a very gracious host.
She allowed us to pick our breakfast menu and she had it ready for us each day at our requested time.
There were plenty of pillows, blankets and towels for us to use and the location was great. An easy walk to various sights and train stops!
She was available for questions either by email or in person and I would highly recommend her and he B&B!

  • Our stay was perfect. The B & B is a great location just a few minutes from the main streets of the historic center and from the train station, making it an ideal base. The neighborhood is fine. The room is quiet and pretty. Anna Maria is the charm of the place, she's very nice, available and gives very good advice on the city and region. The breakfast is excellent. We will return with pleasure.

    Thank you very much Sarah,

  • I am delighted to recommend Annamaria's room and I am in total agreement with the previous reviews. Annamaria is the absolute perfect host and her attention to detail and hospitality is superb. From the minute I arrived I was made to feel right at home. The flat is really in the centre of Torino, just a 10 to 15 minutes walk from the train station. The breakfast was delicious. Perfect. The room was very big and calm. For me it was a truly warm and wonderful stay. Thank you, Annamaria.

    Response from Annamaria:

Thank you very much, very kind of you Michael.
hope to see you again here in my wonderful napoli, the next match of football!

  • AnnaMaria was a wonderful host! Very welcoming personality. The ambiance at her place was peaceful compared to outside the door. She had all these cute plants around the house so organized that we felt some sense of pure nature and easy breathing. She had options for breakfast that we can choose from. So it was different every day. We fell in love with her dog Figone as we have one of our own. We are also very happy he liked the toy we gave him as a goodbye gift. Thanks AnnaMaria for such pleasant stay.

In English and in Italian Greetings, My name is Annamaria and, other then managing my Bed and Breakfast, I am an artist; designing and making my own jewelry using silver, shells and mother of pearl. I also help my brother manage our own shop where we sell my brother's wood sculptures and my jewelry. I love nature and something we call here in Italy "Decrescita Felice" which can be translated as sustainable growth. I try to live my life in a simpler way because I think that this helps resolve the problems of the earth. For this reason, I choose to use the bicycle as my means of transportation and well as for fun and physical activity.
