ABSOLUTELY NO PETS. We have an AIRBNB Exemption for not allowing service animals due to host/ owner life threatening fur allergy. If found to bring a service animal to our listing Airbnb will cancel your reservation and you'll need to vacate the property. Thank you for understanding!

Our cabin is our happy place! We moved to Colorado in 2016 and found ourselves drawn to the great outdoors, taking trips up to the mountains every weekend. We accidentally stumbled upon this slice of heaven, fell in love instantly, and want to share our special getaway cabin with like minded people. The cabin is tucked away in the Pine National Forest 15 minutes from downtown Breckenridge which gives us the best of both worlds... access to all the amenities of a world class ski town and the space and tranquil beauty of nature. This is the perfect place to disconnect from city life, get closer to nature, wake up to crisp fresh mountain air, and connect with friends over a game of monopoly.

We pride ourselves on our cabins interior décor, with a Scandinavian upscale feel, we've tried to capture and create a true cabin mountain experience for guests from Denver and all over the world. We've stocked the house with extra throws, blankets, hiking backpacks, hiking backpacks and hiking poles.

We ask that you treat our home and things like they are your own. Do note that there are LOTS of stairs up to the house (60 stairs), this may prove tiring & difficult in the winter with snow & icy terrain, you are booking a backcountry cabin- it is an experience not a luxury downtown hotel! Do bring up 02 tanks if needed as we are at the 11,000 feet altitude marker. You'll find board games, Netflix's on TV, and coffee + a selection of teas to drink. We have a full kitchen with pots, pans, baking dishes (the oven is small), serving bowls, spices, salt & pepper, and olive oil. We want our cabin to be the perfect reset and hope you love it as much as we do.

ELOPEMENTS/ WEDDINGS of any kind- we charge an additional $250 per elopement or any mini ceremony that takes place on our property. We will add this additional fee to Airbnb before your arrival. We can only allow a total of 4 guests on the property at all times due to our license with Summit County. No exemptions here! Please let us know your plans before you arrive for your elopement so there are not additional fees or the need to get Airbnb involved! Thanks for understanding :)

Other things to note
1. WINTER BOOKINGS: Breckenridge can get extreme storms in the winter. In terms of driving, that means we require guests to drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle and carry CHAINS. Please understand that if your car gets stuck, we are not responsible but can provide assistance with towing help during check in hours or normal business hours. Please check into the house during the light hours so you can find everything easily. Please take this into consideration before you book! This cabin is NOT suitable for high matinence guests. (Please note that if your car gets stuck in the snow due to not having a 4WD/ chains/ or experience driving in SNOW- that there is little we can do to help you).

2. WINTER BOOKINGS: Guests staying in WINTER ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHOVELING STAIRS DURING THEIR STAY (WE PROVIDE TWO HEAVY DUTY SHOVELS). The stairs will be shoveled to the best that the conditions allow before your stay.

3. WINTER BOOKINGS: The snow plow company comes to plow the main street and the driveway on the morning after 4 inches of fallen snow.

4. INFANTS: The house is NOT infant friendly and we do not allow infants because of this. Over 5 years old only.

5. SUMMER BOOKINGS: Please note that the Summit County fire ban is usually in effect and will prevent any outdoor fires. Please be aware if this is in effect before considering having an outdoor fire.

6. Please be aware that the only bathroom is on the bottom kitchen floor and that there is a VERY tight spiral staircase that leads to the 2 beds upstairs that are separated by a wall/door. No roller suitcases upstairs!

7. Our cabin is located at 11,000 feet. Please be aware of this before cooking this cabin. Although a very rare possibility, we cannot offer refunds due to guests getting altitude sickness.

Neighborhood highlights

Breckenridge and Blue River is breathtaking simply put. The mountains peak out above the businesses and eateries of the downtown area which offers tons of options in terms of shopping, eating and exploring. Our cabin is a 4WD (15 min. away) from the main slopes. Our backyard is literally the White River Wilderness and Pike National Forest, the Blue Lakes are a 10 min drive (and highly suggested visit for a beautiful mountain lake view-unless the road is snowed out). The cute little country town of Alma is 10 min to the left of the cabin, and the town of Fairplay about 25 on the 285, past Alma and is the town that South Park is based on... an adorable day trip. Our cabin is located at 10,890 feet!
