We live in a great location downtown. It is where Chinatown meets Little Italy, four blocks from Soho, Tribeca, and walking distance to the Financial District, Nolita, the East Village etc. We are right next to the subway - the 6 train, the N, R, Q, W and the J, M, Z. Or you can walk about 10 minutes to the A, C, E or 1. We usually walk or bike most places.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, large living room and two small bedrooms (one with double bed, the second is a nursery with two toddler beds). The living room has a fold-out couch that sleeps two people.
The apartment gets great light- southern facing. It is not a fancy doorman building- just a one floor walk-up in an old Chinatown building (no intercom). There is some normal city-living street noise. We LOVE it and hope you will enjoy your stay with us.
We are family-friendly, just ask about kid's beds/cribs!
Also, feel free to contact us in French!
$75 cleaning fee for stays of one week or more for families with children or for 4 adults.
SUPERB location! Right across from citi bikes rental and a nice park.
Hosts were extremely welcoming and left helpful suggestions for restaurants in the area. There are so many it can easily get overwhelming. Hosts were also available for any questions and communication was very easy.
It was clean and cozy. No noise from the karaoke bar, seemed to be shut down.
I would recommend this to anyone visiting NYC!
Kendra and her family were a lovely host! Apartment was cute, across from a park so seemed more open. Location was convenient to my needs which included the subway and Little Italy :). Key exchange was super simple. Recommended for an affordable good time especially for a family as they are kid friendly. Happy travels!
We loved Kendra's place for its location most of all but also because it was a nice, cozy, clean place. Kendra offered great service from the moment we booked her place, the communication was easy and fast and she supplied a lot of information about the apartment and the surroundings.
It is somewhat noisy, but it's a little bit to put up with for all the advantages this place has! I will definitely try to book here again when I go back to NYC.
Kendra was a wonderful host. Check-in and check-out was easy even though she wasn't available to see us personally. The place is a little different from pictures. They have a new couch and the decor was moved around a bit. ! but It was still very similar to what was advertised and we loved it. The apartment was very warm at night which was perfect to get us through the cold winter nights in NYC. The location was fantastic as it is close to Chinatown and Little Italy. It is quick walk to the subway station if you want to travel further. The noise from the bar downstairs was not a bother at all. Level of noise was comparable to playing your own music at a low volume, then putting a towel over the speakers to mute it. I would happily stay here again.
Séjour incroyable! Une ville avec une énergie magnifique! Appartement super, très fonctionnel, très bien situé. Un peu bruyant certains soirs mais rien de grave. Un très grand merci Kendra.
I have spent five days at Kendra's place with my uncle and my brother and we had a great time together! The place looked exactly the same as on the pictures, and it was very easy to get the keys even if Kendra was not here when we arrived. The place was clean, but a bit noisy as said in the description so we expected that.
Kendra was great. She always responded immediately and the apartment was as described, actually better, with a decorated Christmas tree. The late night music and singing from below didn’t bother us at all, as the double bed was very comfortable. We also loved the location in the middle of Chinatown, and only several short blocks to Little Italy. Neighborhood food choices are great.
I love being a hostess! Over the years, I have traveled though Europe, Asia, Central and South America staying with friends, and often friends of friends. It makes me appreciate a kind host/hostess! My favorite destination is Bali, Indonesia because it felt like paradise on earth. I'm married with one daughter and when I'm not in NYC, I spend my time in the Hudson Valley cooking, decorating and gardening.
