I am new to AirBnB and I was very happy to feel extremely welcomed by Janelle at her guest house in Carpinteria. Janelle made it all very easy with great directions and helpful notes about the house and how things functioned. The guest house itself had a very comfortable bed and couch, and was situated in a very peaceful backyard area. Janelle left a basket of breakfast items, including coffee and tea, as well as anything you might need for the bathroom. It felt like a hotel! The location of the home is just a short drive to the beach and to downtown Santa Barbara, so it was perfect for my short two day trip. Definitely stay here if you have the opportunity.
My wife and I traveled to 'Carp' for a wedding with our 2 yr old and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay here. The room was very clean/comfortable and the detached bathroom was in no way inconvenient. Located in a very quiet neighborhood, the room is attached to a spacious backyard that our son totally took advantage of. Our hosts made us feel completely comfortable and their adorable kids are great sharer's too :) and were so sweet to our boy.
This was my first Airbnb experience and it was absolutely fantastic! The studio is really well decorated with great furnishings and a comfortable bed. I felt completely at home and Janelle was very good at communicating with me before I arrived and while I was there! The studio is located in a very quiet and beautiful part of Carpinteria and is very close to all the places I needed to go while in town. The snacks were really great as well. I'll definitely be recommending this place to others. A really great stay. Thanks!
Janelle was very welcoming as she knocked on our door to introduce herself to my boyfriend and I. She also brought us fresh, clean towels which was really sweet of her! The place was how I expected it to be, just like the description. It was very clean and accommodating, which made me feel very much at home. Nice, comfy bed along with a tv, small kitchen area, and living room. Janelle left some coffee, tea and other treats which was nice. The bathroom was right across our room and was very clean. The neighborhood was safe and quiet - very close to the freeway and not far from UCSB and Downtown SB. My boyfriend and I were pleased with our stay here and had a wonderful time! Definitely a great stay for our first time using Airbnb. Thanks, Janelle! :)
Thank you for sharing your very comfortable and charming space! The sunlight last night was great and the birds this morning a soothing surprise. The space was full of light and just as described. We really appreciated how accommodating and helpful you were. Thanks again!
About the Host, Janelle
I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, and feel so lucky to call it home. My husband and I have traveled to many places and know SB is the most beautiful place in the world. We enjoy traveling to smaller cities, finding great hostels or 5 star hotels depending on our mood, eating, relaxing and wandering around.
My husband and I love to travel, cook, eat and play! We are always up for adventure and want to be able to say yes to any adventure that comes up!
