  • We can't say enough good about this place! Perfect location, situated between the national park and Quepos with ease of public transportation. So simple to get to beautiful beaches, shopping and eateries. Monkeys, sloths and birds are everywhere in this area - an animal lover's dream.

Allen and property manager, Edwin (and his adorable family!), went the extra mile to be helpful. We made good use of the outdoor kitchen, the wifi is excellent and the property is well groomed and very clean. Beds are very comfortable and our room was private. Freshly ground coffee was waiting for us every morning.

We're already planning a family vacation to bring our adult kids to the area - and we'll stay at Allen's place FOR SURE.

  • Allen's house is the perfect place if you are staying in Quepos. Great location, clean rooms, good facilities, and great value.

His staff member Edwin and Yadira took great care of us. Gave us pointers on where to go and shop.

Everything is close by..the beach, the shops, market, etc. You will definitely enjoy your stay.

We will definitely come back and stay longer next time.

  • The rooms at Allen's place in Manuel Antonio are awesome. I was planning on only staying for two nights, but ended up staying for four. The place was exactly what I was looking for. It's a big house with a handful of remodeled rooms. There is a big open outside kitchen area with a refrigerator you are free to use and there's a big outside sitting area as well. Location is easy - it's right across from the Mono Azul, just a short walk to the bus stop.

Allen was really easy to communicate with and was all-around accommodating. Edwin is the caretaker on the grounds and is a great host as well. I'd definitely stay there again if I'm ever back in the MA area.

  • I enjoyed my stay very much. Comfortable bed and pillows, great shower and bathroom in a modern stylish room. Edwin, who manages this spot is helpful, friendly, keeps the house and property neat and tidy.
Breakfast is not served here but I was welcome to make my own meals in the outdoor kitchen. Edwin makes coffee with beans from Allen's plantation.
    No negatives to report here.

  • This was a beautiful place to stay, exactly as advertised, with nice modern fixtures in the bathroom. There is a very nice hotel with a restaurant next door that you can go to for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner. The host was very nice, helpful on how to find the bus and even offered me Aloe since I had gotten burnt at Manuel Antonio the previous day. All in all, fantastic experince and fantastic hosts!
