Our newly renovated self-contained studio is part of a historic villa (built 1853), situated on a 2.5 ha park like property with remnant native bush and landscaped gardens . We are between Nelson (35 km) and Motueka (15 km), an ideal position to serve as a base to explore the beautiful Nelson/Tasman area . National Parks, vineyards and art galleries to trout fishing rivers, beautiful beaches,cafes, restaurants and the Great cycle trail. In winter ski enthusiasts can reach the snow in 1.5hrs

This is a fantastic place from which to explore the whole region which is full of things to do, outdoor and indoor. Unfortunately the unseasonal storm kept us from sea-kayaking but we had a fantastic lunch in Nelson and visited the nearby Neudorf vineyard cellar door instead!
