Cozy beach apartment in the heart of Guiones, a 3-minute walk to the beach. Steps from restaurants, cafés, surf shops, mini market, bike & ATV rentals — perfect for enjoying Nosara without a car. With a cozy glass reading nook and outdoor terrace. Ideal for surfers and beach lovers.
The bedroom/living area has AC for comfortable sleeping. The kitchen area stays naturally ventilated with mosquito screens and a ceiling fan. Due to the central location, some daytime street noise is possible.

The space
The rental house contains 3 separate individual one-bedroom apartments with private entrances. Your apartment also has a private kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped, I will provide you with coffee. The place is perfect for the people who would like to stay really close to the beach and at the same time walk to the restaurants and shops without having to take the car: this is the most animated area of Guiones.

Completely private apartment: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, the little garden outside area. You have your own outside shower. I offer private yoga classes on the upstairs terrace with a discount that I offer to my guests. You can also join me for my community yoga classes in Nalu Nosara and Bodhi Tree.
If you arrive by car the parking is on the street, there is always space to park by the house.

Other things to note
Power and internet cuts sometimes happen in the jungle, though they don’t usually last long. If you plan on working remotely or will be reliant on a 100% no-fail internet service, please note I cannot guarantee that as it is almost always out of my hands.
Failing that you could always try The Gilded Iguana hotel which is next door as they have satellite internet.

We also live amongst other living beings, which include insects and bugs occasionally being inside the house too! (especially during the rainy season). I try not to use Pest Control with heavy chemicals as each and every creature here has a special purpose and helps to maintain a beautiful, balanced and bio diverse tropical dry forest. We all willingly chose to be in this jungle where these creatures exist. Let’s please respect and allow them to be without disturbing, killing and especially poisoning them! Also, keep in mind that when we use poison of any kind it just moves up the food chain killing all kinds of species as well as running off into the soils and eventually the water table that we drink. 🙏🏽

Opportunistic theft affects all homes in the Nosara area so please be vigilant with your belongings. Please close the doors and all the windows when you leave and put your valuables in the safe situated under the kitchen sink.

Whilst there are no construction work next to the property, construction and home improvement noises can be heard from time to time and are unfortunately part of life in Guiones these days, they are only limited to the daytime.

Best location in Playa Guiones: 3 min walk to the beautiful beach, and to the best restaurants in town - "Olivia's", "La Brasa", "10 Pies", "The Gilded Iguana", 2 to 8 min walk to other amazing restaurants: Harmony restaurant and Juice bar, El Jardin Coffee Bus open for morning coffee from 6am. "Naked foods" and "LuvBurger" are an amazing option for vegetarians and vegans 2 min walk from Surf Shack. Gabi's food corner with local Costa Rican soda la Barra, and great foodcorner, as well as Laundromat.
To rent the surfboard your best option will be the Guilded Iguana Surf Club 10% discount staying at Surf Shack (they also have really great Juice Bar).
Within 5 min walk you also have a mini supermarket, many yoga classes, and all the rentals (Juan Surfo's surfshop, ATV rentals, mountain bike rentals) - no need to take a car, just walk and enjoy.
