The location does not get much better for walking to: Golden Gate Park, the Panhandle, and of course Haight Ashbury bars, restaurants, and shops.
Josh was a great host for our recent stay. He allowed us to store our bags prior to Check-In, and store our bags again after Check-out, so that we could roam the City free of "stuff"! I would highly recommend this place.
Stayed here to be close to Outside Land's (the walk there and back was pleasant and safe).
The location of Josh's Airbnb was phenomenal, close to the Muni N line, the Golden Gate Park, well just SO MUCH more!
The room was as described and really allowed you to pretend you actually lived in SF, if for a day or two.
We walked all around Haight and ate at local mom and pops, found some treasures at Amoeba and grabbed dinner food at Whole Foods. There IS another small grocer on the north side of Haight Ave that I would probably shop at next time.
Would I stay again? Yes, absolutely.
The place is wonderfully situated close to Haight Street, and Golden Gate Park. The room itself is charming, with a bedroom and a small antechamber with table and sink and cupboards. The room was also full of light and air with windows on all sides.
The bathroom was fine, though sink a little rusty. The host left some nice snacks at the door but otherwise did not disturb us. Because of the location there is some ambient noise from traffic, but not terrible.
All in all a good place to be.
The location of this room was great. I loved being in an old victorian building. the 3rd floor had lots of light and was very charming. It was nice to have a small fridge to put a couple things in and we enjoyed our stay very much.
The room was great, everything was clean when we arrived. We were close from everything, bus stops, groceries, restaurants, parcs...
We didn't hear or see much the others visitors, even if we had shared bathroom.
Thanks for sharing your home!
Visiting the Haight is an experience in itself. This room very definitely picks up the local flavor. Room 4 is at the top of a lot of steep steps, but that is typical of any of the beautiful San Francisco painted ladies. Fortunately for me (I have a bad knee) the man who cleans the rooms carried our bags up, and didn't want the tip I forced on him. Josh himself carried them down for us. When all is said and done, you will remember your Haight Ashbury exerience for a long time. Thanks Josh.
