Come stay at The Haight Ashbury Experience!
We recently stayed 4 nights in Josh's Haight Ashbury Experience Room 4, with a comfortable bed and a bathroom next door. Our room was light and airy with 4 windows. From one window, you could see Haight Street (2 blocks away), and from another, you could see the Golden Gate Park's Panhandle. The room is on the 3rd floor, so you need to be able to lug your bags up the stairs. We loved the location and the public transit system was a snap once we got over the learning curve. This was our first experience using Airbnb and things went quite smoothly. Once booked, we communicated with Josh through email and were provided all of the pertinent info that we needed for getting into our room. We met our friendly and helpful host Josh on our 3rd day staying at this lovely San Franciscan victorian home.
Great room with the lookout over clayton street. Great location in the city, with parking nearby.
Very nice house, clean and comfortable. Everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly, and the free water is a nice gesture.
Sauberes Haus in bester Lage (zwischen Park und Height Street). Sehr unkomliziert, sauber und gut ausgestattet.
My boyfriend and I stayed in Room 4, just under the roof. It's a light double room with a comfortable bed and basic amenities. We esp. enjoyed the nice view on Clayton Street. It shares a bathroom with another room on the same floor. The location is great, a couple of minutes from public transport (2 blocks from Haight Street) and walking distance to Golden Gate park. Should I be back in this neighbourhood, I would definitely consider booking this place again.

nice place and great location. enjoyed it.
Great place, great location, great host! Josh is very friendly and organized and gives you the tips for the best places and events in SF, and lends you his bikes to get there! He always replies any inquiry regarding anything you want to know about the city. The room was also great and quiet. And the neighbourhood is awesome. I cannot find a thing to complain about! Our trip included NY, LA, SF, GrandCanyon, Vegas and Miami, and San Francisco was by far the best part of the trip thanks to this accomodation.
I enjoyed my stay at Josh's place in the heart of the hippie gypsy district of Haight Ashbury. The place is very central and a good base for exploring the area. I didn't get to meet Josh in person but communication was very good and the organization was flawless. The room was very nice and clean but could use some fixing (broken windows, holes in the wall).
We had a pleasant stay for 3 days, location is convenient to local food and shopping, and bus lines to downtown. Room was clean and well lit, as were bathrooms. Was able to find parking nearby, and right in front of the building a couple of times. Two shared bathrooms were enough that we were not inconveninced when other guests used them. Nice view from the windows, electric heater in room kept pleasant temperature. Our first AIR B&B stay, it was enjoyable.
Room no 4 is spacious and very sunny! Recommend it!
