  • My husband and I stayed for 6 days. We loved the experience. Granted, this was my husband's first with airbnb.
The suit was very spacious, clean and bright, no less with privacy. Tatyana is a very accomplished cook, she offered a different breakfast every morning, this is with a lot of planning. I gained some cooking tips from her. We exchanged our travel experiences with fellow travelers at breakfast, a nice touch. The house was always quiet even during the day we started late. The kitchen downstairs, specifically for quests is roomy and well equipped. We never felt crowded. Peg, the owner was on travel, however, her establishment is in good hand under Tatyana and her husband's care, we appreciate their hospitality.

I am so pleased that you were so pleased ;)

  • We stayed at House of Fountains in the Ali'i room for just two nights but the visit there was perfect. We would have loved to stay longer but they were sold out.

Peg was wonderful in setting up the arrangements. Quick to respond and easy with follow through.

Tatiana was our on-site host and could not have done more to make our trip better. She was on target with everything from the welcome to the property, a wonderful tour and orientation, an amazing room and amenities, to super delicious breakfast both mornings.

We will definitely look for an opportunity to stay here again if we head back to Maui. Thank you all for your hospitality.

  • My wife and I had a great stay on Maui at the House of Fountains in the Ali'i suite at the end of February 2014. I didn't see the other rooms in this b&b but this Ali'i suite was rather nice - it's a very large room with good natural light from two windows, one with a pretty good view out the lanai and down to the ocean. It also has a sofa, coffee table, a small bistro-style dining table and chairs made of exotic wood, a small refrigerator, a good-sized closet. I typically dislike b&b beds, but the bed & linens in the Ali'i suite were incredibly comfortable - they were equally comfortable as a good hotel bed & hotel linens.
Without a doubt, the highlight of our stay was Tatyana and her breakfasts. Tatyana was an incredibly gracious and sweet host, and she greatly contributed to our comfort and enjoyment at the b&b (although admittedly my wife and I are not highly demanding guests - we weren't looking for concierge services or similar). Tatyana's breakfast cooking was so enjoyable we actually changed our plans to ensure we would make it to breakfast each day (although we particularly love Eastern European food which was a feature of some of the breakfasts).

Other things: great lanai/upper patio, very nice lower patio and pool, incredibly relaxing hammock next to the pool, good location although you'll need a car to get around.

Tatyana is a gem, for sure, and the main reason why I am chubby! So glad you had a great vacation, please, as we are a new business, tell your friends and family about us!

  • Peg and her staff were wonderful. The complimentary mai tai's each night were great! Highly recommended.

    Response from Peg:

Mahalo, Matt! The mai tai recipe is my specialty ;)

  • Where to begin? From the first contact to the last farewell everything was just perfect at the House of Fointains. Our stay was pleasant from the first to the last minute: a spacious suite with sea view, tasty breakfasts, great hospitality and a perfect location just minutes outside of Lahaina. If you want personal attention and good vibes, that's the place to go in Lahaina. We thoroughly enjoyed staying with Peg and her team - highly recommended and missed desperately (now that we're back where it's cold and dark).

Daniela you make me chuckle, I can hear your voice as you write. You and Kurt are so great - looking forward to reconnecting when planning a safari!

  • Peg and her staff were amazingly welcoming and kind hosts. I absolutely loved the view from my bedroom. The b&b was really clean and cozy. Also, it is close to all the great spots in Lahaina. I would jump at the chance to stay here again if I am ever in Maui again. Why stay in a generic place like the Hyatt when you can stay at a charming spot like the House of Fountains? Thank you Peg!

    Response from Peg:

Thank YOU Daphne! I am so pleased that you were pleased!

  • This place was truly amazing. We were lucky enough to be one of their first guests and It felt like home away from home. The suite rooms are quite big with high ceilings, beautifully designed and they come with a large private bathroom. The description and the pictures on Airbnb just do not do enough justice. The Ali'i suite has a beautiful view of the ocean. It was clean, well-maintained and the location was perfect (only a 5 minute ride to the old town of Lahaina). A tasty homemade breakfast is included and there is a nice salt-water pool. The best part is that it comes with an incredibly nice owner and staff. Peg was extremely helpful and friendly, she welcomed us with open arms. We would definitely stay here again if we were to go back!

I also live at the House of Fountains in Lahaina, Maui. I first came here when I was 17, on vacation with my parents, and found a job working on a tri-masted schooner that sailed between the islands. I decided to come back and open a Bed and Breakfast here because I have a bit of hotel administration background as well as formerly owning a special events promotion & public relations company, and I want to make every guest's visit to Maui, my favorite island in the world, filled with great memories. Let me and my top-notch Ukrainian staff ( who speak English, Russian and Polish) provide you with a vacation or special event such as a wedding or anniversary party to remember, and we hope you will make our home your favorite regular vacation spot!
