Cobble streets, trendy bars, savory food, Victorian homes, Starlandia and River Street, Enmark Arena, Plant Riverside are nearby. We offer comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen and many amenities. We are only a biking, walking, Uber or busline distance away from your journey. Outdoor security cameras only. No pets, sorry. NO SERVICE ANIMALS due to my health issues.

The space
Our 11 ft ceilings take you back to a simpler yet classy time, while a hint of whimsy is infused in each room, thanks to our travels abroad.

We live in a diverse, safe, energetic neighborhood with many beautiful Victorian homes.

Located near Forsyth Park, where lovers for generations have become engaged in such romantic settings. The Gingerbread house, a beautiful blast from the past, is blocks away. If coffee or trendy bars are your thing, we have those too! And what would Savannah be without a ghost or two!

Just minutes away to downtown and a great back yard if you are wanting to take it easy and just grill out! Our neighbors are sweet and we have a local seafood restaurant called David's that is wonderful, but sometimes busy on Friday and Saturday nights.

We are growing our own kumquats, tangerines, and tangelos as well! We want this to be a relaxing place for people to enjoy. Come be a part of this!

For those of you who have small children, or are concerned about safety, we have an excellent police force in our neighborhood, as well as security cameras and motion sensors around the outside of our home. We also have 8 foot fence enclosing back yard with lock. Only a day trip away from Daufuskie Island. Also near Wormsloe and Savannah Wildlife!

We also provide paper products should you not want to be doing dishes on your vacation.

We offer 30, 60 and 90 day rentals for corporate. tourists and SCAD students, as well as extend a welcome place to stay to traveling foreigners. Having lived overseas, we love meeting interesting people from all sorts of walks of life.

Please be courteous of our neighbors, and only bring two cars at the most when you stay with us. We do not want any issues with parking and is actually required by Savannah. If you need to park additional cars, please let me know in advance. We also ask that you observe any and all noise ordinances and laws as you would anywhere. No drug use is permitted ever.

Neighborhood highlights

The neighborhood is full of friendly, helpful people, who for the most part leave you alone unless you want to get to know them. There are several homes being renovated, and it has been fun checking each others progress as they come along! This having been said, is not a noisy neighborhood. This is a changing neighborhood, and is safe, but as in any neighborhood, we ask that you take normal precautions. We do have Uber. There is a strong police presence here, as well as security cameras on the street corners, and our house, and motion lights. We also have an 8 foot fence that we ask you to keep locked. Uber is available in Savannah and if you are elderly or unfamiliar with the area, this would be a great way to travel.

My husband first introduced me to Savannah in 2010. He had lived here previously, and because we both had lived overseas, knew that I would love the European feel of Savannah. It was the same reason he was drawn to it. We first came to enjoy the beautiful city, but we kept coming back because it fascinated us and we decided to start looking for a place to have as a vacation home. We saw many properties, but kept coming back to this one, and finally decided to purchase this home. We are based in NC and this was our type of place for many reasons. We love the haunting feeling of Savannah, the great food, the eclectic vibe that is here. It is a place that young and old can enjoy and by having a vacation home here, allows us to enjoy this as well. We want this place to be the same for you!
