I'am in love with my region and I can advice you on everything.
Veronique's place was beautiful, very nice room in a great apartment. But the best thing was Veronique's knowledge on Colmar (especially the best places to/not to eat) and all of France, and her genuine enthusiasm to help plan our road trip. We based many of our plans on her advice and had an amazing time. If you're arriving/leaving from the COlmar train station, this place is perfect as it's right across the road, but only a 10 minute walk into the old town. Oh and a great breakfast in the morning!
Veronique has been so nice to us. She is very familiar with all the sights in the town, so she could be very helpful if you give her a chance to advise your trip. And her apt is absolutely wonderful. Her homemade breakfast is highly recommended too.
Veronique's apartment is stunning and once we arrived she couldn't do enough to help us, in terms of making suggestions for restaurants and touring the area.
The location couldn't be better, the room is beautifully decorated and the shower room is clean and functional.
Her breakfasts are delicious and if she asks if you would like her to cook dinner for you, your answer has to be yes. She prepared the most delightful meal for us which was a very fine dining experience but without the expensive price tag.
Veronique is a charming host and we were very sorry to say goodbye to her.
Véronique was a wonderful host. She made us feel welcome and served us a wonderful homemade breakfast in the morning.
The space was nice. The bathroom is newly remodeled and was one of the nicest we saw in our two-week trip to Europe.
This is a lovely B&B right by the train station in Colmar - perfect if you're coming by train! It's a short walk away from the city centre. The room is lovely and well planned, matched the description very well. The breakfast was one of the best we've eaten! Home mad jams, French cheese, fresh squeeshed oranges… Simply the best! Veronique is a very charming and helpful host!
We had a lovely, luxurious stay with Véronique in her stunning home. The space is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures, and Véronique was as warm and welcoming as we had hoped. It's also just two minutes walk from the train station yet is perfectly quiet with the windows closed. The gourmet breakfast including homemade cake and jams was delicious. Additionally, Véronique is a wealth of information about the history of the region, and we learned a lot from conversing with her. Merci pour un très agréable séjour, Véronique!
