Great location! We loved being close to the Presidio, The Palace and being able to run to parks and the wharf. The bus stops right there to bring you to town. 16th street is walking distance with any dining desire. Sandor and Guillianna are great hosts, they made us feel like old friends. We loved the conversation. They are great conversationalist with great knowledge in all areas including of course San Francisco. I would totally recommend theeir Place.

This was a comfortable refuge and a wonderful counter point to the bustle of San Francisco. Sandor and his wife Guiliana provide an Airbnb home stay that makes a trip to SF very relaxing. Their European charm and warm hospitality is an unexpected bonus. They offer a lovely breakfast and time to chat. The eco bidet is an added experience! I look forward to another visit next year!

We got to meet Sandor, who is really a great host and has a great personality. The room was clean and beautiful, inside a very nice house. We really enjoyed staying with him. He bakes every morning for the guests, fresh and delicous crossiants! His house is located in a great location to walk to the palace and the golden gate park area. It is not too far from the downtown and fisherman's as well (take an uber!) Everything in this stay was in order, such a pleasant experience!

I had a fantastic time at Sandor's! Great central location, all the amenities you need (including a warm toilet seat!) and best of all Sandor is a lovely storyteller. I'll be back for my next business trip!

This place was within walking distance to many restaurants, beaches, the palace of fine arts, and the presidio. Sandy was very welcoming and friendly. We loved talking over morning coffee and croissants. Would stay here again.

Awesome place to stay in San Francisco!! You can't beat the location or the wonderful hosts. Sandor had wine and cheese waiting for us when we arrived, and they had warm croissants, orange juice, and coffee ready in the morning. As it was our first time in the city Sandor gave us plenty of recommendations that made our stay so enjoyable.

Sandor and his wife are a warm and delightful couple that definitely made me feel welcome in their home. It is in a great central location and I appreciated the free parking which is a VERY nice touch in San Francisco. The bed was quite comfortable. My two recommendations would be: If you are sensitive to light bring an eye mask and if you are sensitive to noise bring ear plugs. Those 2 touches transformed this nicely sized bedroom into the perfect space for my travels.

My wife and I have lived in San Francisco for 40 years; prior to this, we lived in the Los Angeles area for nearly 10 years. I am originally from Hungary. I left when I was 16 in 1956. My wife, Giuliana, was born in Italy and grew up in Venezuela. For four decades, I managed our family’s pasta factory, Eduardo’s Pasta, in San Francisco. Giuliana, meanwhile was the CEO of a management company that specialized in non-profit organizations . Between the two us we speak four languages: Magyar, English, Italian and Spanish. We have traveled extensively in Europe and South America and welcome international and national guests. We love living in San Francisco and taking full advantage of the geographic, social and cultural activities it has to offer. Our home is I a perfect location to easily explore the city and its intriguing, diverse neighborhoods. As the long-time columnist in the San Francisco Chronicle, Herb Caen, once said, “One day, if I do go to heaven, I will look around and say, ‘It ain’t bad, but it ain’t San Francisco.’”
