Well, absolutely wonderful. Really a cool place. Great kitchen to cook with quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am. Clean and everything you need. Coffee and tea 24 hrs. Many different choices of accommodations. Some with private outdoor showers and some shared with one other room. All very clean. Communal area is great and you can either socialize or not, but it is difficult to stay totally by yourself depending on how long you are there as people we met as either guests or workers were all friendly. (As most Costa Rican's). There are two rooms right off the kitchen which is why there is quiet time in the kitchen. It can be loud I'm sure but people did respect the quiet hours while I was there. The pool is amazing and clean. Screens and sliding glass doors make for a secure bug free zone. Or AC is useful too at times. It is not a totally quiet secluded place. The bars are close and on the weekend it is loud till they close. (I was too tired to care and fell asleep anyways). It helped closing the windows and putting the AC to drown out the noise. But it was only loud one night we were there out of 5 (Saturday) . We went to five different yoga classes and enjoyed all of them with each instructor being so different. Amazing yoga studio full of space and beauty with openness that allows air to pass through. The rain at night during yoga is an added blessing. It did rain a lot in the evenings there during the rainy season. But the communal space and yoga offered you plenty of things to do. Cooking each meal was also helpful since most restaurants are pricy for my budget. Everything a person may need is here and accessible. Parking, internet and tranquility. Beautiful job on creating this space! Plenty of people ran off to surf in the mornings but the waves were big for us so we drove south to Uvita and north to Manuel Antonio who has whiter sandier beaches we were looking for. The town of Dominical is tiny but clean safe and an interesting blend of locals and tourists who coexist pretty well. Really quaint Really great place and highly recommended for a quiet, and or as action packed as you would like to make it with the many things to do in he surrounding area. Thank you for a great space

Response from Brendan:
Hi Luis, We are very sorry to hear about that guest making you feel uncomfortable. We were unaware of her condition upon her arrival, and once we realized that she was bothering other guests we asked her to leave... Next time feel free to send us a message at the time that something bothersome occurs and we will be sure to take care of the situation immediately. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the rest of the experience! Come see us again soon!

Rad, very spacious use of shipping containers for rooms. Can barely tell they are containers. They are pretty classy. Pool and ac. Really cute town with good waves and food.

Wow, I really don't know how to explain how incredible our stay was at Brendan and Sophia's place! Of all the places we've stayed at in Costa Rica, or Airbnb in general for that matter, this place tops the list. It is such a sacred and special place, everyone who works there is so, so lovely and accommodating. Communication was perfect, before, during, and after check in. Staying in a shipping container was such a unique experience, one that inspired my husband to look into building his own! The containers have been repurposed in the most amazing way, they are just adorable and so cozy, but they have enough space and shelving for all your luggage. The bed was super comfy as well. It's equipped with AC, which is a huge plus, and the showers had more than enough hot water. Speaking of the showers, it was so cool to have an outdoor shower just steps from your door. There was never a line for the shower because it was only shared with one other room. The environment of this place is my favorite part. The common areas are done so well and are so peaceful and serene. There is just a magic about this place, I actually feel like it had a huge impact on me! If you come here, you HAVE to take a yoga class - it was hands down my best yoga experience. The studio is absolutely gorgeous, you feel like you're in the middle of the jungle, and the teachers are superb. I honestly feel that Brendan and Sophia could charge 3x the amount and it would still be worth it to stay here. They're also building a pool for the site, which will be great once it's ready. Check out the brewery next door - phenomenal food and great environment. Everything about this place was incredible. Sophia and Brendan are both delightful and we were honored to meet them. We definitely hope to come back, heck, we've even talked about MOVING to Dominical, it had such a great impression on us. I know that this place had a lot to do with that. If you stay anywhere else, you are really missing out!

Wonderful private space with excellent amenities. Great value for the area and there is a Vitamix in the kitchen! Near the hub of town and next to a late night bar, can be noisy in the common areas but quiet in your rooms. Lovely evening yoga classes!

We only stayed one night while passing through Dominical but agreed we'd love to stay longer next visit. Brendan had great communication, check-in was easy, and we loved the property. The newly renovated shared area is beautiful, crates are small but clean, and bed was comfortable. There is some night noise (live music, people talking, etc.) from the new brewery next door, so not total silence if you are turning in early but the noise of people enjoying themselves didn't bother us. Hope to be back!
