About This Listing
I live in a 4 bedroom place, with two other roommates. Both great guys who are really laid back. We have a spare room which we usually use for work, and to play music in.
There's a very comfortable bed, and the apartment has access to a porch which you'll have access to. The porch gets great sunlight and is a perfect way to start your morning.
The room is absolutely quiet and some mornings you can hear birds chirping outside. We have a full queen sized bed, with a foam pad over the top. It's incredibly comfortable. You'll absolutely feel at home.
Once you're here, the place is yours. We consider you a room mate so you can help yourself to anything that's in the fridge. We live very close to a lot of great bars and restaurants. You can always find something to do, and it's very easy to get into the city. Just two stops away, takes less than 10 minutes.
Looking forward to having you.
The entire apartment. Kitchen, 2 bathrooms, shower, fridge, oven, stove, and wifi.
Honestly, the house rules are very simple. We just ask that you're respectful of the place. Everyone in the apartment is a very laid back guy. It's be very hard to upset us. We've gotten along very well with everyone who's stay with us so far. As long as you're a cool person who's respectful of the place we have, you'll have absolutely no problems with us whatsoever. You may even make a friend or two :)
Joe would frequently cook extra breakfast, lunch and dinner for me. He was very open and willing to share his home with me. The apartment is great and the room is wonderful
I stayed five nights at Joe's place. I met him once during this time and my interaction with him was positive. He responded quickly to mails sent before my arrival.
I met two of Joe's room mates briefly, Saad and Rob, both of whom were friendly and helpful.
The apartment is nice and looks like it does on the photos. I was out most of the day every day so it suited my purposes well. It is very well situated for getting the L train to Manhatten or the East river ferry. A number of great drinking and eating places within 5 minute walk.
If I had any criticism it would be one that has been logged on here before and that is the mattress. It has become hollow from use. I were to stay in Williamsburg again, I would have no hesitation in staying at Joe's place.
Joe and other housemates made me some of the best coffee I've ever had. They opened their home and refrigerator to me and I was always welcome to use whatever I needed. It was a wonderful experience.
The flat is in a great location, allowing you to explore Brooklyn and also very easy access to Manhattan. I didn't meet Joe but his flatmates (I met three) were very friendly and helpful. There was a small mix-up with the rooms and I didn't end up staying in the room advertised, but the room I stayed in was actually much nicer, so no complaints!
It was a nice stay, very good location of the flat, just 2-3 stops with the L line to Manhattan. At the same time the flat is located at a very quiet corner and just one street away there is an endless line of bars and restaurants.
The mattress was very comfortable and I really enjoyed it.
The boys are very nice, I didn't see them a lot, but from what I saw they are very nice, organized and quiet.
I recommend the place for couple of days stay in NY, away from the tourist crowds and at the same time very close to all the key points in the city.
