Perfect, perfect, perfect. I actually hesitate to give the great review this place deserves so it won't be booked up when we want to return! :-) Maura is an amazing, friendly and welcoming host and the cottage is adorable and comfortable: fantastic kitchen/dining/living area with stone walls, back patio overlooking the fields, plenty of room, centrally-located so many sites are within an easy day-trip drive -- we hated to leave and hope very much to come back some day. Thank you, Maura!!

The cottage was clean, private and well-equipped. It was located behind the main house in its own courtyard. Wifi was strong. Ask for a demonstration on how to use the washer/dryer unit. Easy access to the M8 motorway (exit 6 at Thurles/Horse & Jockey). The Horse & Jockey Hotel with excellent restaurant and pub is just minutes away. Communication and assistance from our host was excellent. Highly recommended, we'd stay again.

Nice cottage surrounded by green lawns and fields, quite large for 4 guests. The host (Maura) greeeted us warmly, fresh scones and milk were ready for us at the kitchen. It was really, really nice. There is all necessary and well working kitchen equipment. The location is quite convenient, several sightseeings and interesting towns (including Cashel Castle, Cahir and Kilkenny) may be easily achieved by M8 which is only 5 min. of driving from the house.

Parkstown accommodation is very close to the small town of Horse and Jockey. Maura was welcoming and provided lovely scones and had the place nice and warm for our arrival, thank you so much for that Maura.
