Lots of information given and a friendly face to welcome us when we arrived. Easy access to Ferry point and bus links. A great way to enjoy Hong Kong on the quieter island.
Our stay in Annie's Discovery Bay studio flat was perfect for us. We chose the flat as it was 5 minutes walk from our friends who lived in DB. The flat was equipped with everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable. We were met at the flat by Annie's helper Marie Fae who gave us the key and gave us a run down on the apartment. Discovery Bay is very hilly but it is well serviced by an efficient bus service which drops you almost at the door of the apartment. Annie clearly runs the apartment as a business and has a very blunt service agreement which has no flexibility in it - unlike other apartments we have booked through airbnb specifically no flexibility with check and check out if there are early or late flight arrival times. There is also a 200 HKD penalty for stays of less than 5 days (but in fairness this is listed on the airbnb site and I guess I just missed it) I would recommend the flat to anyone wanting to stay in Discovery Bay.
We booked this apartment for 4 days. This flat was big enough for 4 people and the interior was modern and good. The flat was clean, just the bathroom was a little bit dirty.
The sourrounding of the flat is a little holiday-village and it's only a few minutes to the beach. But the apartment is on a hill, so you have to take some steps from the beach to the flat.
Annie and her team were really friendly and helped us with every problem. The check-out and the check-in were no problem.
Thank you for the great stay at your flat.
we really appreciate your place and all the good night sleeps we had during our stay. We also appreciate the kindness and the goodness of the couple, Raymond and Marie Fe.
We would not hesitate to contact you should we decide to go back to Hong Kong again.
Staying in Annie's place is a pleasant experience, the flat looks exactly the same as in pictures and Annie is also a very good host, she is very responsive and considerate. We dont have any problem to communicate and I am pleased to find her on airbnb,

I am Chinese & was brought up in the UK and born in Malaysia, but lived in Hong Kong for over 30 years now.
My childhood was spent mainly travelling around with my family of 5 siblings as my father was stationed at several British Army bases around Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong & the UK. Therefore, I enjoy travelling & meeting people of different cultures.
I have travelled to Europe & the States during my student days & most of my family members have now settled in the States & the UK.
I preferred to settle in HK as the place is as vibrant as the people who play hard, & work hard (website hidden) has a 'buzz' you cannot find anywhere else in the world.
It has been interesting living through the changes from the British colonial days to the handover back to China, & being part of 'history', & revealing of the versatility of the people here to the changing times to not just strive, but thrive in various aspects of their lives & (website hidden) brings out the best & worst in you... ^_^
