Where you’ll be

Abiquiú, New Mexico, United States

The house and guesthouse are on 10+ acres. The area has other homes --from movie star ranches to artist studios to some rusty trailers scattered around the landscape. It's sparsely populated like most of New Mexico and there is great hiking and walking right out the door. (As well as formal trails you can get to easily. Information at the house!) You can even hike in the arroyo during the dry season! There are dogs and coyotes and some roosters in the neighborhood and you will probably hear them from time to time. They are the music of the Southwest, along with birdsong and wind and the sound of your own breathing!

Lynn was a documentary writer/director, but now transitioning into the art world after going back to school for a MA. Two great kids: Jackson has recently gone back to art school at SFAI, and Nora is a senior in high school, looking for the perfect college. We have 2 dogs, Hendricks & Yoko, a dozen or so chickens and some pandemic quails. We truly enjoy having airbnb guests in Topanga and New Mexico. Almost everyone has been lovely and very appreciative of our unique locales. We love to travel ourselves, so it's great fun to meet others who share that passion. But don't worry... we mostly leave you alone to enjoy the place!
