  • This home is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood. All of the lawns are manicured. and this home is no exception. There are plants everywhere that are beautiful and well-cared for. The home is beautifully decorated. If you are a minimalist, this might not be the place for you. Everywhere you turn there things to look at! The host has attended to every detail. The location was perfect for my visit to Baton Rouge.

  • 1000 times better than a motel. This is upfront and personal with wonderful caring people. We could not have asked for a better experience. I feel like I have new friends.
Andy and her husband are people who like helping others.
My daughter and I came to set up a new apt. for her first job and the advice and care we got from these wonderful people was helpful and uplifting. You get back what you give and they are rich in life. They felt like the family you always wished yiou had.

  • I arrived as a paying guest and I left as a friend. Andy and her husband could not be better hosts. Their home and garden are beautiful and it's a privilege to stay there. I could have chosen to stay in an expensive downtown hotel or cheap motel; instead I came to Andy's house and I was welcomed into a warm and loving family home.
The location is a great, quiet neighbourhood. I would recommend a car (there are some buses I think) but anyway you really do need a car to navigate Baton Rouge which is a spread-out city The house is easily reached from the interstate. Apart from the attractions of Baton Rouge itself, you can access Lafayette, some great countryside and New Orleans is not that far away.

  • I stayed for three nights at Andy's and the place was quite wonderful. Very well decorated, just like the lovely pictures! I had a chance to enjoy some eggs Andy cooked for breakfast, which were delicious. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and overall very comfortable stay.

  • Andy was so gracious. My son was traveling by bike from austin to ohio to go to college and not use fossil fuels. Andy took him in and treated him as her own. Justin and I were so pleased with her kindness and hospitality. I l mean she even went looking for him. Who would do that? True southern hospitality.
