This charming village house is located in the prestigious Burgundy wine village of Meursault.

Perfect for 1 or 2 couples or a family, it is surrounded by vineyards, yet is only 400 metres from Meursault`s attractive village square.

The space

The house was recently repainted and refurbished in a tasteful and comfortable style. The ground floor consists of a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas with good natural light from double glazed windows. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and overlooks the courtyard patio which is ideal for outdoor dining.

Adjoining the kitchen is a small sitting room with double doors opening onto the courtyard patio. A utility room contains a washing machine, dryer, twin sinks, and access to a separate WC.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The 17m2 main bedroom has a queen size bed, ensuite bathroom (with shower, WC and basin) and opens onto a roof-top terrace which has a view of the adjacent vineyards. The large second bedroom has a queen size bed which can be split into two singles. There is a double bed in the third bedroom. These two bedrooms each have separate direct access to the second bathroom which has a bath with shower over and twin basins. All of the bedrooms have carpet on the floor and ample wardrobe space.

As well as linen, we supply a "start-up" quantity of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, water, juice, and basic condiments such as salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. Washing powder and rubbish sacks are also provided. Terminal cleaning is included.

Free Wi-Fi is provided. Secure parking is available in the driveway. A compendium contains comprehensive information on local restaurants, attractions and activities.
Wine lovers will need no introduction to Meursault`s fine wines, or the celebrated nearby villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet to the south, and to the north Volnay and Pommard. Beaune is a 10 minute drive; Chalon-sur-Saone 20 mins; Dijon 45 mins, and Lyon 1h 15mins.

This was our second stay and felt a bit like coming home. The house is great: comfortable and spacious. Since our last stay a second decking area has been added which gives fabulous views of the vineyards.

This is a great house in a great location. The description is very accurate although the house was better than expected! The inside of the house is open and roomy and the bedrooms were a great size (one is smaller than the other two). The outside space is good too - there's space for eating downstairs and the roof terrace (accessible from the main bedroom) is an amazing space perfect for chilling out (in the sun when it's out) and looking over the vines opposite. It's a very short walk into Meursault, with local shops and restaurants. Our advice would be to book a table for dinner if you want to eat out - we couldn't get served on the Sunday night (eventually we went up to the restaurant opposite the camp site on the way out of town) and only just managed on a Monday, we booked after that and of course we ate in too. The kitchen has everything you need and the 'welcome' stocks were much appreciated. It's only a short drive to Beaune and we used the taxi service listed in the guest book to get there and back - great service. This is a great rental. We stayed a week and would definitely stay again. Thanks!

What can we say? Ma Maison Meursault was perfect! We stayed for 5 days and wish we could have stayed longer. It was exactly what we wanted and hoped for. The house was immaculately clean, well equipped and located and a wonderful place to call home for the first part of our trip to France. Maree and David were a pleasure to work with and should we return to the Burgundy region, we would, without hesitation, stay here again.

This is a top-notch rental, a lovely home in a famous Burgundian wine town. Communication from the hosts, Maree & David, was above and beyond from start to finish. The house is exceptionally well equipped and quite comfortable. In short, one of our best ever airbnb experiences.

We are a New Zealand couple who have previously worked and lived in the UK and Canada.

For the past 26 years we have been grape growers in Marlborough, New Zealand’s largest wine producing region.

We enjoy travelling, and as we have family living in Meursault, we have visited Burgundy annually for the last 10 years. Cycling through the vineyards, exploring small villages and wine tasting are our favourite activities in Burgundy.

In 2013, we decided to purchase Ma Maison Meursault as our second home. We have re-painted the interior and refurbished it as a place for us to enjoy with family and friends. We are making it available for guests to come and experience the ambiance of this lovely ancient wine village and the delights of greater Burgundy.

We have compiled a detailed compendium for guests based on our experience of the area (e.g.restaurants, sightseeing, cycle routes, wine tasting).
