Our neighborhood is on the edge of downtown and close to the capitol campus. There are a lot of office buildings springing up all around us, but our row of residential housing hugs this main artery. You can easily walk to many interesting places.
Our Intercity Transit Routes 94 (best) and 64 swing by to take you to the transit station for more connections. One block away, you can catch the DASH, a free bus that goes up & down the main drag from the Capitol to the Farmer's Market. Two buses enroute to Tacoma go past our corner, the 603 and the 612. To bus to and from Seattle, check Sound Transit's schedule for connecting with Tacoma. If you take the train to Olympia, bring your bike. There are two awesome bike trails between us and the train station.

What a delightful surprise to find this gorgeous Bed and Breakfast! Slept better in their bunk room than in most hotels and the breakfasts were scrumptious. Kristen has a such a kind and warm Inn Keeper presence and Christopher is truly a gifted Chef. Each day, the organic, healthy food was prepared lovingly and stimulating conversations abounded around the table.
My son loved the Van Gogh room and we will definitely be back. Looking forward to sharing more fun and gracious hospitality at the Ground Inn.

I had a terrific experience staying with Christopher and Kristin. The newly remodeled, redecorated rooms are beautiful, clean and conveniently located right downtown. I loved the fireplace and the on-demand hot water for tea. The other guests were respectful and enjoyable. The best part was the hospitality and excellent breakfast! Thanks for a great stay, I will definitely be seeing you next time I am in Olympia.
