A.There should be space in the circular drive out front to accommodate 3 cars Be careful not to "stick out" in the street. The town does issue tickets.
B. There is free parking in designated spaces on Aunt Sukey's Way as available
C. Do NOT park in the shared driveway between 6 and 8 Aunt Sukey's Way without speaking with me first. There is limited parking and the driveway must remain accessible to me and my neighbor next door. For special occasions I will try to accommodate additional cars in my spaces out back.
We had an amazing time at this really cool house! Richard made everything so easy and our arrival was a breeze! The location was perfect, we could walk to everything on Commercial Street. There was plenty of parking for all renters which is hard to come by in ptown. I would definitely stay here again!
Pictures due this house no justice! It is absolutely gorgeous and VERY spacious !!! Very close to commercial street !
Adding to what others have already said, the house itself is large with several indoor and outdoor areas to relax and unwind. Suitable for large groups. In terms of location, it's a 10-15 min walk to the village, restaurants, bars and cafes. You'll need a bike if you want to explore the outer beaches, public pool, etc. Biking around the village was a lot of fun and a great way to get around. Recommend having the bikes delivered & picked-up. Overall, we had a great stay.
House is not what I expected. Very dark, worn and needs updating. Advertised to have air conditioning. The air conditioning is only in the bedrooms. It was very humid during our stay, needless to say we were very uncomfortable. Landscaping of house is nonexistent and neighbor hood needs TLC.
Richard was a great host and very responsive. The ad could be a bit more clear with respect to A/C. Guests should know that there is no central air-conditioning and only the a/c window units are in the 4 bedrooms, none in the main living area. However, there are fans in main living area and it was fine. Overall, great experience.
My 10 person group rented Rick's home for a 5 day trip, and had a wonderful experience. The home was incredibly accommodating for a large group, with 5 beds, 2 pull outs, and several couches; everyone was comfortable. It was very clean upon our arrival, and even more spacious than we expected! The upstairs kitchen is right next to the roof deck/grill, which was great for having group dinners; all bedrooms were downstairs. Rick was a great host, introducing himself when we arrived, and offering support throughout the stay; he was easy to reach and communicate with at all times. The neighborhood is about a 5-10 minute walk from downtown Provincetown, and even quicker on bike! It is a relatively quiet neighborhood, and very conveniently located; Race Point beach was about 15 minutes away on bike. When we left, we all wished we had rented the place for longer; fantastic time there and we would definitely come back again. Thanks for everything Rick!!
Although Richard was responsive with our inquiries the property was not at all as expected or depicted in the photos. Bedrooms were musty and damp with smell of mold throughout all. Rooms were poorly lit ( in retrospect I think that was intentional as to not call attention to the condition of the carpets, window treatments, etc....) Kitchen window shattered, deck furniture rusted and badly stained. Television was not working and internet connection was virtually non existent.
The neighborhood depressed and run down. Neighbors loud at 1-2 a.m.
We were overcharged and I respectfully requested a refund for one day but have not had any response from Richard.
