The space
The Rose Suite at Hutto Farmhouse has a lake view and star-gazing veranda. Feel free to have a bonfire and tell some tall tales or meditate in the zen garden, just outside your front door steps. Don't forget to visit our chickens in the orchard (established Spring 2017) and say "hi" to the donkeys next door. Lake Pflugerville is just 5 minutes away and is a great place for swimming, fishing, kite surfing, or exercising too. Yippee! This is Texas fun! Please know that Roosters Crow, chickens cluck, dogs bark, donkeys brey and horses nay. We have all of these animals. Welcome to the country ☺️

The 400 square foot efficiency apartment is a completely private space with its own entrance on the North side of the veranda. It is connected to the main house by a washroom. The veranda, outdoor eating areas, bonfire pit, orchard, chickens, zen garden, cottage garden, and an acre of land in front of the main house are all open to guests. Visiting pets are welcome in the front of the home as well. The main house, train room, and garage are by invitation only.

Other things to note
The Rose Suite sleeps up to 4 people. It has a queen size bed and love-seat sleeper sofa. There is parking for 2 cars. Parking for an RV or trailer may be available for a small additional fee (electric hook up only) depending on size.
