Welcome to Chezlinhlinh House, the House of Love
Welcome to Chezlinhlinh House, the House of Love, in the city center of Hanoi, Vietnam. With nicely decorated rooms and air conditioning you can expect a cozy and comfortable place to stay as well as being treated as a member of our family.
Located in the former Ngoc Ha flower village, near the botanical park of Hanoi you can enjoy (a great central location near all the sights and sounds of Hanoi) healthy living environment and just a few minutes you could access to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, One Pillar P(website hidden), West Lake and Temple of Literature.
My family has been living in Hanoi for 300 years passing down through 14 generations, witnessing the history as well as modern period so we are positioned to share with you our lovely historical Hanoi.
Spend a few days with us, going to buy food in the local market, prepare Nem (noodles with various ingredients) and enjoy the local cuisine, drink a cup of lotus tea or Vietnamese coffee. You will enjoy and learn more about our Hanoi than staying in a standard guest house or hotel.
We work in the Vietnam tourism industry over 12 years and as a division of Amo Vietnam Travel, we can assist you in the perfect itinerary in the North of Vietnam as well as in other part of the Country, Cambodia and Laos.
A very nice home in a quiet location. It's some ways inside a small driveway, which branches off a small lane, which is itself a branch off a narrow street that can comfortably only let 1 car through. But the home itself is very comfortable, with very adequate amenities. The room assigned to us was spacious and adequately furnished - - good enough to be 3-star hotel standard.
We enjoyed the company of our host very much - - she was so sweet and warm. She helped us find our way around, and guided us to some of the best food and sights.
She was also understanding and kind: knowing that my wife and I had to travel daily to town for most of what we wanted to do, she offered a refund of the balance stay so we can grab a hotel in town instead.
I stayed here for a very short time but generally I thought it was great. My room was clean and very spacious with good facilities including a table and a fridge, so really good if you're self catering. The family were very helpful and even drove me to the bakery to get some food when I arrived late on my first night. It's quite close to the centre including the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum etc but if you're going to the Old Quarter it's a bit further so I'd recommend getting a taxi or xe om. If you're a solo traveller (as I was) I'd also suggest getting a taxi if arriving late at night because the house is down a few alleyways off the main road.
I had a great stay at Mrs. Thuy's home. Very welcoming and warming place. She even provided me with breakfast and dinner even though it's not technically included in the price. Even though the house is not located in the center it's easy to get around to the main sites. You can walk (30 min it's a nice walk) or take the bus/taxi. Mrs. thuy is well prepared with maps to show you where to go and how to get around.
Thanks for a great stay in Hanoi!
Excellent place to stay. Just enough out of the hustle and bustle of Hanoi, but still walking distance to most things. Thuy keeps a beautiful space for her guests, and is so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended!
Thuy was great to stay with. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable with aircon and a warm shower. They even offered to do laundry for us (for a small fee) which was very welcome after traveling for a few weeks. The location is about a 1 hour walk from the Old Quarter, so it's not as close to downtown, but we loved the location and there was incredible food nearby and access to the things we needed. Thuy also helped us plan our trip to Halong Bay and was very helpful with any questions--highly recommend!
