Welcome to Chezlinhlinh House, the House of Love
Welcome to Chezlinhlinh House, the House of Love, in the city center of Hanoi, Vietnam. With nicely decorated rooms and air conditioning you can expect a cozy and comfortable place to stay as well as being treated as a member of our family.
Located in the former Ngoc Ha flower village, near the botanical park of Hanoi you can enjoy (a great central location near all the sights and sounds of Hanoi) healthy living environment and just a few minutes you could access to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, One Pillar P(website hidden), West Lake and Temple of Literature.
My family has been living in Hanoi for 300 years passing down through 14 generations, witnessing the history as well as modern period so we are positioned to share with you our lovely historical Hanoi.
Spend a few days with us, going to buy food in the local market, prepare Nem (noodles with various ingredients) and enjoy the local cuisine, drink a cup of lotus tea or Vietnamese coffee. You will enjoy and learn more about our Hanoi than staying in a standard guest house or hotel.
We work in the Vietnam tourism industry over 12 years and as a division of Amo Vietnam Travel, we can assist you in the perfect itinerary in the North of Vietnam as well as in other part of the Country, Cambodia and Laos.
Thuy was an excellent host for our first couple of days in Vietnam. Communication was easy, the rooms were as described and she made us feel welcome in her home.
In addition, Thuy was more than happy to organise our train journey to Sapa before we arrived (including a few date changes). I highly recommend staying at Chezlinhlinh.
We had such a great stay with Thuy and Lam. We felt very welcomed after a long flight and they introduced us to Hanoi and helped us around. The room is very nice. Thuy helped us plan our trip, and even stayed in touch and arranged an back up plan when our trip to Ha Long Bay was canceled because of bad weather. We were so glad. Thank you very much Thuy! Hope to stay again with you some day.
Logement conforme a la description. Très bon accueil. Une bouilloire est mise à disposition et la climatisation fonctionne 24/7.
Seul point négatif, le logement est éloigné du centre.
My friends and I were arriving at the house in the early morning because our sleeper bus was scheduled to reach Hanoi at 5am. When I asked the hosts about this, they were very obliging and said that we could check in at any time. We told them we would arrive at 6 because we didn't want to wake them up but one of us fell sick and we had to get to the house earlier, but we were welcomed warmly anyway. Our rooms were spacious and clean.
We asked one of our hosts, Thuy, about bringing our sick friend to the hospital, after which she gave us some advice about it and told us how to take care of her based on past experience. While she stayed alone in the house to rest, Thuy took care of her all day - buying her medicines and a new thermometer, cooking the kind of porridge mums cook when you are sick, and asking after her from time to time. The rooms also provided a conducive environment for resting peacefully - they were quiet, clean and safe. Her meticulous care was very effective and my friend felt better after a day.
When we left the house, we were also given a map of the city and precise directions of how to get around by bus, as well as a slip of paper with the host's phone number/address and the name of the places we wanted to get to on it. Thuy also recommended places to eat and attractions to go to for us and gave us lychees to eat at night, just because.
More generally, I felt that staying in a residential area rather than a hotel or hostel in the old district gave us an experience of the city we would not otherwise have had - nothing amazing, but I appreciated it a lot
They gave me the address to find the place with taxi. There was no problem to find the house and they welcomed me. It was really great to stay at the house. I stayed slightly less than 2 weeks. It is a bit away from the city center but it was my intention to be a bit away to see Vietnamese's common life and routine. The host let me know where to eat local food which was great too. Also she introduced me other travelers staying there and a Vietnamese girl who became my good friend. If there was any question then I could ask the host and they helped me a lot. Overall, my trip to Vietnam was amazing thanks to them. I will definitely stay with them again if I go back to Hanoi in the future.
It was a great experience at this home. The place is quiet and comfortable. The room is clean and big. We love the room. And Thuy was very nice to us. She helped us to book the tours and arrange the trip at a cheaper price. And she asked a student to show us around in Ha Noi that we could get a local experience of Ha Noi. We love every moment with Thuy.
And we like her welcome dinner which is so warm and joyful. We talked and shared a lot.
That was very good experience. I love it!
I loved staying with Thuy and her family!! She was so helpful with booking our tours and planning our VN trip! I don't know what I would've done without her help! The pictures do not do the room justice! It was so nice and clean! We got the two adjoining rooms with our children. Her house is beautiful and so peaceful! Her children and helper were lovely!!! It is far from the old quarter but taxis are cheap and there were other places to visit. Plus there were lots of good food stands nearby too! I would not stay anywhere else! Please also take some time to sit down and talk with Thuy! She is so nice!
