The space
You will love staying in Helen's Cottage in the beautiful Warren neighborhood of Bisbee. This historic community of arts and crafts homes, surrounding the park, is a green oasis in the high desert of Arizona. Helen's Cottage built in 1914, was one of the homes featured on the annual Bisbee Home Tour. Bisbee has almost springtime weather year-round and sun everyday! The cottage is on Vista Park where you can bike, walk, play tennis, and enjoy the weekly Saturday Bisbee Farmers Market. After a busy day of visiting shops and restaurants in Old Town Bisbee, you can retreat to your quiet, charming cottage to relax and enjoy the beautiful birds, gardens, hammock and hottub. Take a walk around the mile-around park, ride the bikes provided by your hosts or play tennis. When night falls you can cuddle up by the gas fireplace in your cottage or the outdoor fire pit. Make Helen's Cottage your economical base for your visit throughout South East Arizona. Adventure out to visit historic Tombstone Arizona for a Gun Fight at the OK Corral, Kartchner Caverns, or Cochise Stronghold all a short drive from Helen's Cottage. There is also amazing birding at the San Pedro River or the Huachuca Mountains a short drive from Helen's Cottage. You can enjoy the privacy of your own place but since your hosts live nearby they are available to meet your needs, provide directions and answer any questions you have during your visit to Bisbee and Arizona.

Guest access
Guests have use of a private patio, picnic table, pergola and patio furniture. Our guests are also welcome to use the enclosed patio with hottub, gas fire pit and BBQ and hammock and loungers.

Other things to note
We offer 10% discount for weekly stays and 25% for a month.

Helen's Cottage is not suitable for guests with a dog or other pets.

Please note that Bisbee is in the high desert at an elevation of 5,600 ft, so while days are warm as soon as the sun goes down it gets cool in the winter and spring months. Be sure to pack a jacket and swimsuits for the hottub.

I am a lifelong adventure traveler and have lived and worked in 39 different cities and towns--- and traveled to many more. My husband and I travel to a new country once or twice a year. Recent journeys were to Bhutan, Sikim, Nepal, Norway, Turkey, Morroco, Ireland, Guatemala, Colombia and Russia. Hosting fellow travelers gives us the chance to meet interesting people even when we are home in Bisbee and not on the road. I love music, salsa dancing, studying Spanish, gardening, reading, decorating and solving problems big or small. Jimi rides motorcycles and tinkers repairing our antique cars. We both adore our puppy Ziggy. Check out his (Hidden by Airbnb) Page : @ziggywent2 Doesn't everything die at last, and too soon?
