This is a terrific place. The location is exceptional -- an easy walk to the Pearl District and to Old Town, and just a stone's throw from Union Station. The proximity to the river and Broadway Bridge is a real bonus for people new to Portland. Bobby's place is comfortable, well decorated, very clean, and exceptionally welcoming. The only negative aspect of the experience for me was that the neighbor's HVAC unit (if I've diagnosed the sound correctly) made so much noise, I could not fall sleep in the downstairs bedroom. However, that sound didn't penetrate the other rooms, and it was not a serious enough issue to deter me from returning in the future. (I am a rather light sleeper, admittedly, and the host offered me a fair resolution -- which I declined, because even with the issue of the noise in the downstairs bedroom, the place was a great deal.) My family had an excellent time at Bobby's place, and thoroughly enjoyed the City.
The place was just as pictured/described. Bobby was very responsive and left all the info we needed.
The condo was a great jumping off point for our exploration of Portland. We did not expect to see Bobby but had a small problem with parking which he personally rectified immediately. Highly recommended!
Beautiful home! Bobby was very welcoming and provided us with lots of suggestions for things to do in the surrounding area. He was very quick to respond to concerns and questions and made our stay wonderful! The house was just as he described, with a beautiful view of the river. The location was perfect, walking distance to the Saturday market and the restaurants and shops in the main part of town. I highly recommend Bobby's home and we will definitely be staying there again if we are in Portland!! Thank you :)
We had an amazing time! We used this as a crash pad for the bridesmaids during my wedding week. Bobby was informative about everything we could need. The place is right on the river and is such a great location! It was a hot week so we were happy that the A/C was turned on before we got there! There is a pool and hot tub which made for fun days and evenings! There is a running trail which made for pre day workouts. I would use this place again for sure!
This place was great! Right on the river, giving you a view of the Moda and Convention Centers, this apartment easily fit 5 people with it's two bedrooms and air mattress. The place is walking distance to the Pearl District, which is really where you want to be. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.
We had a great visit to Portland and enjoyed the condo very much. The location was convienient to downtown plus the neighborhood felt safe and inviting. Being new to airBnB we did not know exactly what to expect but Bobby was a wonderful host and answered our questions very quickly. Also the keyless entry was a bonus as we arrived late and did not need to bother anyone for a key. The condo was very clean and well appointed. The river view was a pleasant addition in the city setting and plenty of little touches, like extra toilietries and a local beer chilled in the fridge, made this stay outstanding.
There are a number of excellent food and beverage choices a short walk away. Some highlights for us were Tilt and Broder Noir (get the Danish pancakes.) Also Widmer Brothers and Ecliptic Brewing both a short hike across the river had a good variety of brews.
We had a wonderful experience in Portland. We are already planning ahead to our next visit and will be keeping this location handy to next time.
