Seamless! From initial contact to checkout, everything was as advertised or better. Bobby was attentive, and accommodating to all requests.
The neighborhood was very appealing. Right on the water, with access to a wonderful running path and view of the occasional passing boat.
Great parking just steps to the front door, and close to everything you'd want to do and see in Portland!
So after maintaining an almost-perfect rating for a whopping 120+ reviews, it should be a foregone conclusion that Bobby and his property should be at the top of your list when looking for places to stay in Portland. And yes, said conclusion would be correct.
It is no exaggeration to say that this condo has been one of the best lodging situations I've found myself in in the last five years of my travel, be it through AirBnB, hotels, or resorts. It's obvious from the getgo that Bobby knows what people are looking for when they're on vacation - from the keyless entry that enables hitch-free check-in and check-out to the welcome binder loaded with local information to the tiny soaps tucked in with the neatly-folded towels, Bobby's got the details down to a T.
This experience has been the ultimate combination of a resort stay (that view from the balcony is just a daily delight, and access to the pool and hot tub is just gravy) and the convenience of an apartment (a functional knife set? Washer/dryer in unit? Speedy wifi? Check, check, and check). The two bedrooms and their bathrooms are positioned perfectly to offer maximum privacy. The location, especially if you're a walker like me, lets you cover Northwest, the Pearl, Downtown, and even Williams/Mississippi with ease on foot, and with the MAX a stone's throw away, there's very little in Portland you can't get to with minimal effort.
Stay here. Especially if you're traveling in a group of 2-4. It'll be worth every penny and every second to do so.
We loved this condo! Great. great, great location right on the river . . . centrally located to downtown (we walked everywhere!). The unit itself is great. Very clean and great added "hotel-like" amenities - soaps in the bathrooms (other complimentary toiletries - cotton balls, Q-tips, tampons, lotion), complimentary bottled waters in the fridge and a Brita pitcher in the fridge. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to anyone I know going to Portland!
This was a very nice place. The view is great! Even saw a double rainbow over the water - gorgeous! It's a short walk to downtown/Pearl District as well. We did arrive about 45 minutes prior to check-in, with the OK from Bobby and the place had not been cleaned yet. I called Bobby to inform of that and he said there was a mix up with the cleaning service and he was on it! There was someone there, oh about 15 minutes after I got off the phone with him. She did her thing, which allowed us to walk around and check out the neighborhood, came back and the house was ready to go! Bobby also followed-up with me a few times to make sure everything was OK, which I appreciated. Overall, very nice stay and Bobby was great to deal with. I would recommend this place and would stay here again if needed.
Nice large apartment with a beautiful view and in a serene location, and very convenient for walking to explore downtown during the day (not entirely comfortable walking around the neighborhood at night, though).
Very clean and well kept 2-bedroom apartment. Lovely view of the river and easy entry access via keypad which was a great bonus. Bobby was a very responsive host! Thank you!
