Where you’ll be

Waikawa, Southland, New Zealand

Waikawa is a very small peaceful town on the estuary. Everything is walking distance. There is a very popular fish and chip van operating in the summer months, Waikawa Museum and Information Centre. Cafes are Curioscape at Curio Bay and Niagara Cafe both 5 minute drive from Waikawa. If you intend cooking, it is a good idea to buy groceries before you come to the Catlins.

I live on a sheep and cattle farm in Southland NZ with my husband Bob. We live about an hours drive form Waikawa. We have four grown up children who come back home to their roots from time to time. I enjoy travelling, walking and reading and sewing and crafts.
