The Space

Welcome to my spacious classic 1930's one bedroom apartment, close to museums, shopping, and dining. You will feel at home at my peaceful place located in a quiet, safe and centrally located neighborhood.

It's outfitted with robust wifi and many books, a little porch, spacious living room, separate dining room or desk for doing a bit of work - but no tv. I live here when I'm not renting it out, so it will feel homey!

It's got one designated free off street parking space and is convenient to many buses. I'm a frequent recreational public transit user and happy to share tips.

Fully furnished, one floor up. Please note, there's one full-sized bed, in the bedroom and one couch (not a foldout, just a sofa). Folks who sleep on the couch, including me, have found it comfy.

Our neighborhood is quiet and residential, conveniently located between Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the 10 freeway.

Walk to LACMA, the Craft and Folk Arts Museum and the giant sloths of the La Brea Tar Pits. Within a 2 mi. radius are some of the most delicious restaurants in LA and the coolest boutiques. Also, the Grove, the Beverly Center, CBS Studios, and much more. Rodeo Dr. and Sunset Blvd. are just minutes away.

Go clubbing in Hollywood, or head out to the beach in Santa Monica, then roll on home to this sweet retreat.

High speed internet wifi access, linens, towels, hair dryer, iron, stocked kitchen.

No pets, parties or smoking inside please.
And...please note the $60 cleaning fee and $150 deposit.

Check In
  • Staying at Leslie's place was just like staying at my own apartment. While I didn't get to meet her directly, her friend who checked me in and out was absolutely wonderful. It was easy to set up the reservation and Leslie was great about communicating quickly despite being out of town herself for the holidays. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again if back in Los Angeles.

  • It is a very nice and spacious apartment in a safe neighborhood. Convenient location with free parking. I would stay here again next time I am in LA. Guests should be aware of the steep driveway when driving a car with low clearance, but Leslie provides a parking permit to park on street too.

Leslie is friendly and has great communication. We had a wonderful stay.

  • I stayed at Leslie's for a week with a friend and a week on my own, it was like staying at a friend's place. The reviews and her description are accurate: a reasonably priced, homey 1-bedroom apartment in a convenient location. Leslie was helpful and in regular communication. Parking was good for a small car. The location was ideal, in-between East and West sides and a close drive (not really walking distance) to shopping at the Grove and TJ’s, museums, Little Ethiopia, Hollywood, etc. The bed was comfortable. My friend liked the privacy of staying in a unit on the second-floor and that it had lots of light. A neighbor and a barking dog were a bit loud at times, but I always looked forward to returning there after busy days. I would stay here again.

  • Great location. Quiet neighborhood. The building is old but Leslie did a great job making the apartment a cozy and nice place to stay. Communication was great. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Leslie but her friend Tamar is very nice in helping us checking into the apartment. Overall my first airbnb experience was A+.

  • This nice, neat and vintage apartment is our first stop in LA and the last place we want to say goodbye to. It's spacious, everything is functioning well! location is great, it's in a quite community and center to many places of sight seeing. I will strongly recommend it to you all.

  • I loved this place. So comfortable and creative. I felt like I was staying at a good friend's house. Leslie and her friend Tamar were incredibly helpful. When LA traffic had me at my wit's end, Tamar called and talked me through a great alternate route that had me where I needed to be in 20 minutes.

  • My husband and I stayed at Leslie's for 6 days this past week. We might have started off as guests but by the last day, we really felt like we lived there. That's to say how homey her apartment was.

Location is central, parking was easy, apartment was cute and oozed the SoCal charm. Loved the numerous windows and succulents everywhere. = )

    Would definitely consider visiting again.

  • We had a really great time at Leslie's apartment. Leslie was super nice and helpful, giving us a lot of helpful tips where to go and what to do in L.A. Her apartment is amazingly charming, super clean and spacious. The location is unbeatable, no matter if you want to be close to the airport, visit all the famous L.A. locations like Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the like, or hang out at the beach. We would definitely stay with Leslie again and highly recommend her place!! Thanx Leslie!!
