Great location, clean, simple, and good communication. However, I was very disappointed when I arrived and was told there is no wi-fi, despite the listing clearly saying there was. I was very unhappy about this.
The place was clean and I guess it had all you can expect for the price. I don't recommend it for a couple or any tall people as the bed (and also the sleeping couch) is only suitable for one person and rather for a tiny person. It is a rather loud area but nice! there are various bars around and especially the one down in the house Dok19 is great!
We spent 3 days in this apartment with friends, who rented another half of apartment. Apartment is very well located and generally we liked it; it would be very nice if not two things:
1) It was very dusty inside - like nobody entered it for a month, and we had 3 little kids with us. First thing we had to do was washing floors all around the apartment.
2) There is only one pot and one pan for 2 parts of apartment which is clearly not enough for a rather big company.
Other than that - the flat is nice.
We red your remarks about the floors and the dust. I was shocked because the former guest told me the same and I discussed this right away with the lady who cleans the apartments. We have arranged somebody to clean the apartments because we live not nearby and have to rely on her word that she cleaned all. We heard about the cleanlyness from you only afterwards and therefore were not able to do something about it during your stay, So after reading this we discussed it again right away with this lady. I understand now why this probably happened; she explained she cleaned right after the former guest left but did not right before you came. I am sorry about that! She promised though to do well for the next time.
We arrange more pans for the apartment.
Thanks for your comment. We hope you enjoyed stayong with us and hope to see you back.
Ps. Please do not bring bicycles all the way upstairs; we had to ask somebody to clean the walls of the stairways again because of the black stripes of the tyres.
I stayed 2 nights at Elly's.
The location is gorgeous, but I must admit I've been slightly disapointed with the cleanliness of the premises, plus the shared toilets and kitchen.
All in all, it is not a bad choice, and it's pretty much worth the money, but you only get what you pay for.
