The neighborhood

Our village named Vauvert is located in south-east of France, in Languedoc-Roussillon, in the department of Gard.
25 minutes from Nîmes , a beautiful Roman city with its arenas and 30 minutes from Montpellier, a dynamic city with its many leisure activities, bars and restaurants to go out and of course the sea with its famous place as Palavas-les-Flots, Carnon or La Grande Motte. Located at 20 minutes, you can visit the beautiful fortified town of Aigues Mortes , les salins du Midi or les Saintes Maries de la Mer (40min) , Le Grau du Roi ( 30min). The nearest beach is about 30 min.
Vauvert is a very nice and quiet village in the Camargue! We also offer bike rentals for driving around Camargue and going on the greenway along the canal Philippe Lamour.
Other places to visit within an hour : Arles , Avignon, Pont du Gard , the wineries , the Camargue horses and herds of bulls , la Provence and the picturesque village of Les Baux de Provence etc ... I will be pleased to help you in your tour program and site visit.

Proximity: bakeries, deli counter, caterer, restaurants , press office and tobacco , supermarket at 10 min walk.

Martine and her family were lovely. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. Nothing was too much trouble and any little issue that we had, they resolved it quickly. Access to the room is easy and private, there are two outdoor spaces to enjoy coffee/sunset drinks on. Martine and her family gave us lots of information about the local town and festivities and really wanted us to enjoy our time in their neighbourhood!

Martine was a wonderful host. She had restaurant recommendations, and was a great help in facilitating my trip to Arles to get my smashed iPhone screen fixed. Lodging is in a lovely area just across from Church. In-suite room was as advertised. Great stay!
